View Full Version : re 2000 heja and Mediterranian Theater

Hi, I'm new here, but I love the combat sims and the vast array of aircraft included in all the Sturmovik outings.

I have two questions: 1. Are there any plans in the works to add the re 2000? Particularly the re 2000 heja of the Hungarian Air Force? I love the look of that little fighter and I read that is found moderate success early on in the Eastern front with Hungary.

Also, 2. I would love a Med. themed simulator. Maps could include North Africa, Italy, the Balkans perhaps, including Greece and Yugoslavia (the Ik-3 would be a nice addition as well), and Palastine. At least five-seven Air Forces can be represented in one theater, RAF, USAAF, Luftwaffe, Italy, and French and possibly Greek, Bulgarian and Yugoslavian.

Anything on the horizon for either of these?

Thanks for any info! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I don't know the answer to your question but I'd love to see the re-2000 series in the game too. Especially when that would make it easier to have the P-35.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

An external was made and submited to 1C. I also think a cockpit was on the works. Unfortunately, I think that the external had issues or something that the team had no time to fix, so I doubt it will see the light, even as AI.

Anyway, let's wait for the 'mystery' 4.08, and we'll see what's in. Cross fingers.

There are a couple of maps in the works that might appear on 4.08. There's an 'Italy' map centred on the Bay of Naples that also has a distance truncated Sardinia and Bay of Genoa on it. There's top looking Ian Boys map that looks like Tunisia, and a central European mountains map that looks really neat that's of Slovakia, and maybe a Bessarabia map too. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I want to see Italian SM-79s and Greek PZL-24s especially, plus a scenario where the Luftwaffe tries to transport reinforcements to Rommel in N. Africa. It was like a shooting gallery for the allies!
