Oleg:

I thought this would eventually make it in at some point, but Please, Please, Please implement these sorely missing features:

1) Bot Controlled Planes for Multiplayer Dogfight

2) The ability to hotseat between remaining player controllable planes in Coop mode upon death.

This would put the final icing on what would otherwise be the perfect multiplayer prop flight sim.

Of course I acknowledge your work as the finest available, but please help a poor SIM junkie out my man... I keep paying for the upgrades.

Never use God`s name in vain, cos when he sees you`ve been wasting his time over and over again he won`t be there when you REALLY need him.

Oh, and ditch the capitals too.

And hotseat of planes is a form of cheating (e.g. knowing where is that plane that killed your other persona). Dead is dead!

That would be incorrect. If a server can host for say, 25 people, then it can handle 25 bots since they ought to take up the same amount of bandwidth as traditional human players. Don't forget we have dozens of AI planes in coops without mishap as well.

I'm with you on the AI planes in dogfights. Can't imagine it would be to hard to implement.

Boy, trash the guy for daring to make some good suggestions!

Such features are needed, and would be controled by the host anyway, hence optional.

I was more implying about those AI planes spawning on DF maps.
Spawning human players also cause a short pause.

On coop missions they don't spawn back, once they are shot down they are gone.

NO, NO and NO.


Bot controlled planes will add the realistic environment which is desperately lacking in FB online for the past three years!

I'm so tired of these useless online dogfights either in dog servers or coops with no missions or objectives like attacking or protecting bombers aiming to a target whose destruction would decide of the success of a game!

For instance, I've never seen on my numerous hours of online playing a coherent formation of more than two bombers!

An host should be able for instance to organize a flight of AI bombers leading to an objective a team should protect while the other team should escort the bombers.

That is also inacurate: Loading a new plane or skin cuases the pauses. IA planes and skins would allready be in the hosts ram, so the pauses would be very very short, or non existant, not like when a human(client) respawns.

just preload the AI planes on the map wich will take away the pauses ,many servers allready preload planes without problems

and i agree with the original poster
