Has anyone else here already played through this campaign? I recommend it. It's good times. My friend and I are playing it as a series of Coop missions. It's got a nice mix of missions from of varying difficulty.

Interestingly enough, I actually did get into a flat spin in our 3rd mission. I wasn't able to pull out of it, but my friend Matt told me that you should cut your throttle, and apply opposite rudder to get out of this situation. Does that sound right to you all?

Feel free to follow our exploits on YouTube under my User ID (ILikePortillos). Comment as you see fit. PM me if you'd like to join our campaign! We normally fly once or twice during the week from around 8:30 to 10:30 CST (-6:00 GMT).

See you out there! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Hey! Thanks a lot for the compliment. I'm glad you enjoy it and that you took the time to let people know about it. I think ILikePortillos now, too.

If you use Mods, you might find this one a laugh, too. Totally fictional and not at all serious but definitely a bit different. Ba$tards of the slot (http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=52)

FlatSpin's campaigns have consistently been among the better ones available through the ages.

For a trip off the beaten path you should try his Spanish Cival War campaign. Historically, it was a bit of a "dress rehearsal" for what was to follow in the coming years.

Haven't heard of it but I will give it a try.

I've been wanting to try some co-ops, I've never flown Il-2 online before. I've still never really learned how to use complex engine management though.
