Thanks VV_Holdenb- I know a Gent who I used to work with of Polish Nationality who often says the Polish were under-appreciated in the War.

This is a good link to pass along.

Cheers

“We were over the Somme, flying close escort and I looked over my shoulder and could see someone firing at me, I think it was a Focke Wulf or a ME109. I thought they were too far away to do any damage, the next thing I know I could hear someone on the radio saying Kuryllowizc is on fire.”

Hm would of liked to of seen more Pictures. I enjoy these little stories, but they frustrate me too.

I Googled this http://www.airframes.co.uk/default.aspx from the story , but mostly empty handed even there.
