http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif What a head spin! Went over to Game Stop and guess what, you can now buy a new copy of Silent Hunter III for thirty Bucks!A week ago I spent Forty and now it's thirty, beat me on the head Ubi.com and you did. Guess I should had waited a week because I would had saved a good ten bucks, that might put a quarter tank of gas in my car now.Maybe next week it will be $19.99.Anyway I returned my second copy that I never open up,I figure it will be cheaper in a week or so.When it drops to $19.00 then maybe I get another copy. Not sure why the price drop so soon, maybe sales aren't that great or maybe some other reason.Don't get me wrong I like the game but maybe alot of people can't run this game on their computers. If you want a copy for thirty bucks then call your local Game Stop to see if they have dropped the price down from forty to thirty.

Regardless of what game comes out and by whom, the price tag is always maxed out on its release.
The game has maximum impact for the first few weeks.
Then as the weeks roll into months the price tags drop as the impact of the title erodes.

I waited 8 months to buy Pacific Assault for MOH. 35.00 out new...I paid 19.99. a saving of 15.00.

SH3 was different...I wanted it NOW, LOL so I paid the 29.99..was it worth it..YES it was.

Same here, from play.com. How can they still be paying $40 when most of us are paying 30 the exchange rate hast gotten to about 1=$2 now, it has to either get cheaper for us or more expensive for them.

Lesson learned for SH4 : wait a couple weeks and the price might drop 10 bucks. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Ok the coins are being tossed and sounds like alot of you were truely blessd when you picked up your copy.I paid forty bucks, was it worth it at the time,it was for me because I wanted to buy it a year ago when they first said it would be out so money wasn't a problem for me.I guess forty bucks is small change when I remember paying $140.00 for a flight simulator, not FS2002 or FS2004 or X-Plane but a real flight simulator used for aircraft flight training and that was alot for me.As the old saying goes,if you want it bad enough then you'll go the distance to get it! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

X-Plane, I never looked into that. I saw screenshots of the uber detailed cockpits but I stuck to my FS2k2 and 2k4 :P

As for sh3, 15 and I got it the day after release :P...

Play.com I love YOU!
