Any chance we'll see this loadout in the future ? This might be asking too much : the Hagelkorn wouldn't be too bad either.

Yea!
We need it!
...and may be MG151/20 for Bf 109F4!

"<<Reinhard, Reinhard, wake up ! Thunderbolt behind !>> Reinhard does not reply, but keeps on calmly blazing away at his Fortress. I go flat out over the Thunderbolts. The first of them now opens fire on my wingman. The latter just keeps on firing at his victim. But now the leading Thunderbolt is a perfect target in my sights. A single burst of fire from my guns is all that is needed. It bursts into flames and goes down spinning like a dead leaf into the depths below. It is my second kill today."

Radio controlled glide bomb.

It used Infrared and in other versions enemy radar to glide to target.

Factory in Hamburg got bombed after delivering about 100 Weapons of this kind.

This is a experimental loadout tho.

If there should be a addition it should be named

PBI
90 mm tank armor
or
PB II
180 mm tank armor

On 22.03.45 11 FW 190 F8 destroyed 17 Tanks and 15 other vehicles along with 2 Planes with this new loadout.

This rocket is a modiefied r4m with hollow charged warhead and foldable fins
8 rockets could be mounted on early wooden cassettes . PBI had to be launched from 200 m and at speeds around 490 km/h . PB2 had greater range and contained 6 to 7 rockets a rack.

Hi,

Those German technologies never fail to impress me. This would be a very cool loadout indeed.

Cheers,
Norris

Forgot F√¬∂rstersonde SG113 .

Thats a weapon system that detect the electrostatical field around the tanks and other vehicles . And fires automatic when the plane flies over it. Buildings , Trees that are higher than the tank can disturb this measure system and chance of a hit is about 50 %.

I wish that there were more ground attack weapons with more detailed effects than we have now. I totally understand the development focus is on other things but it is the very nature of the sim that makes ground attack missions so challenging and satisfying.

What we have now is more than workable ofcourse, but a reorientation towards ground attack including more bombers would be something I would personally enjoy.

the need for panzerblitz rockets is 2nd only to the need for the zero 5b for its 7.7mm

All these loadouts, especially the Panzerblitz would be nice.

But fixing the 151/20's would probably be even better. But we shouldnt hold our breath for this.

I agree!

This is especially true when you remember that the allies now have the option to select from almost a dozen variations of rockets...

panzerblitz is a optional loadout, 5b needs its standard, cant change loadout http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Proper performance for loadouts without the MGFF (not Jabo)

since where talking about wonder weapons, here is what id like to see

rustel x1= this was a glide bomb that could be radio controlled used by the luftwaffe

henshel 293= a bomb powerd by a rocket wich was television guided but most versions were guided to their target by watching their proggres through bonoculers used by luftwaffe

rustel x4= the ultimate air to air weapon, this was the first air to air weapon the first 1 fired was by a fw190 in 1943 it was radio contolled but latter versions were television guided

i would love to see these in il2 someday but the il2 game engine probberly cant handly the guidence systems http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Did you try mistal bomb that Fw190 carry it. It is biggest LW (glide) bomb in IL2.

i think glide bombs is possible, but i guess that remote control bombs are like 2 ppl controling aircraft... impossible http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

i read it had a autopilot, and 190 pilot would set it on its way, much like we do ingame..

i think everyone would like to see panzerblitz
