Kaleun Anton Horder is currently in the Med and having a whale of a time. He wonders, though, whether the RN has so many Destroyers that they can afford to escort every waif and stray crossing the lake.......

On this patrol, and the previous one, it seemed that every merchant had at least one Destroyer with it! At this rate, Kaleun Horder will make the oceans a safer place for everyone by sinking the entire destroyer fleet..

This Career is in GWX, previous sojourns into the Med (Vanilla and GW) did not have such a heavy escort ratio.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Well historically Britain did have more destroyers then the Kreigsmarine had landing craft.

Nor the RN had infinite escorts, nor teh war effort was able to sustain more than a given number of tons sank in a given time.

Stock game had a poor implementation of this phaenomen, so whenever you surpassed a given number of tons, the war was over.

Of course, it was seen as a bug at its moment -because it wasn't docu.mented nor correctly explained in the game.
