I don't want an Uber Hawg, I jsut want to take off from an RN carrier with a bombload.

I just want to make that clear. I can take off from a US CV ok. Really. Don't bother with CVEs little toys. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

its a plot by corsair drivers, they know if they jam up the forums itll stop ppl who make zero threads have less views...

corsair drivers KNOW that a 7.7mm gun, will end there ability todo anything at all with there corsairs in terms of aircombat.

they know there death will come quickly and often if properly armed zeros arrive on the scene.

be sure.

Idiot did you read what I wrote? Have you tried taking off from a bloody moving BRITISH carrier with a full fuel load and a couple of bombs. Can't be easily done. Could be done in real life. GET IT?

I said I DON'T WANT THE CORSAIR OVERMODELLED just some more wind as IN REAL LIFE.

Pingu, if the Zero really is missing a gun, Oleg put it in...I'll fly it.

Are yoy really all this dense...if I were an Ameriwhiner would I gripe about a RN carrier???

Geeez if you would have had the decency to to read what was already wrote on the subject you would have seen that it was debated to death the past few days. You would have also noticed that I was also one of those who lobby about this problem too.

Have I said anything about you being a whiner of any kind?
Beside that, these is no need for name calling, but i do expect some excuses. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

Here is real life for ya.
Corsairs were a piece of **** till Korea
when they were used as fighter/bombers.
The wings were modified so much just to get
it to land and take off on a carrier in 43-44
that the Jug was way ahead of it in terms
wing drag even if they did share the same
motor.A 109 or a 190 would of ate them
alive on the western Front if the Corsair
would of been present. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif
I am surprised they weren't
all sent to Russia like the P-39 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Sorry Von_Zero, I just am having a real hard time taking off with heavier loads from the RN carrier. Really dude if the PM messages worked I'd PM you...fact is I went offline after and flew a couple of Icefires missions, first a Yak 9 knocked down a 109; then in a 109 G-10 got 1 P-38 and 2 P51Ds. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif This is dumb to get mad at an avatar and some text.

Besides I know lots of folks from your country (Romania I assume) and they are cool. (I am an ex-pat Canadian in Europe).

Look guys, I just was a bit anxious that Oleg do something unrealistic with the FMs instead of a better solution like wind. Heck how much does 100% fuel weigh? We could do the calculations ourselves. Or maybe there is a bit of acleration twekaing to do. honeslty I've never cared before.

I apologise again to Von-Zero and the forum.

Have you all seen loki's acceleration tests over on the PF board?
Oh, and whitetornado - I assume you've seen the mustang vs corsair flight test reports? Also the 190 vs corsair...
