View Full Version : What happened to the undercarriage suspension ?

With v.4.0 it feels like there's no suspension for the wheels. This is especially noticeable when touching down. Instead of the tires and struts absorbing some of the impact it feels like you're landing on a couple of iron bars. And if you touch one wheel down earlier than the other then the other side just clumps down as if all lift had abruptly vanished from the wing.

I hate to say it but landing in this version feels as un-natural and simplistic as LOMAC's original release.

If it's more realistic this way then 'yay'; but I much preferred the old way.

I'm told we had far too much bounce before...

But I have no real experience on the matter.
