This is is addition to the IC add-on.

"As weaponry, both were good, but in far different ways from each other. In a nutshell, I describe it this way: if the FW 190 was a sabre, the 109 was a florett, or foil, like that used in the precision art of fencing." - Gunther Rall

You can probably get missions and skins for free...

You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by,
Sneak home and pray you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.

I hope this is not the one Hammerd and Luthier are working on. Looks like stuff that is already available. Looks like they are just combining stuff for a salable add-on. Without some new flyables or maps, it will be hard to get interested. I thought there was more to it than that.

It doesnt seem like the one hammered and luthier are working on seems like another crap sellout missions and skins and wav voice recordings for money, if you notice it says no new maps just skins and missions. Its a shame oleg allows people to charge for missions and skins, operation barbarossa blah. And its the reason why mis files cant be sent to each others comp when playing on someones map. $$$$ getting a little greedy IMO. Its such ashame these talented people dont make many free missions, campaigns and skins like the rest of us. I bet it goes for arounds 20 bucks too 6 for box print and manual and a bunch of suckers will be fooled like with operation barbarossa which said it includes new planes.

Combat Over Europe for IL2 Sturmovik's Forgotten Battles Expansion Set features eight new campaigns, special training features, online cooperative missions, a speech pack to convert Russian and German to English, and a skin pack with ten new skins.

Luftwaffe campaigns include the following:

Berlin 1944-1945 Campaign for the Bf 109 - 100 missions
JV44 1945 Campaign for the Me262 - 40 missions
Poland 1939 Campaign for the Ju87 Stuka - 30 missions
Crimea 1942 Campaign for the Bf 109 - 70 missions

Russian Campaigns include two fifty mission campaigns for the I-16 monoplane and the I-153 biplane.

USAAF and RAF campaigns include the following:

D-Day Tactical campaign flying the P47-D. A retired USAAF P47 pilot is acting as technical advisor.
Strategic campaign April 15 - June 5, 1944 flying the P51-D in escort for B17s.
Battle of Britain (using a non British map) with the Hurricane, 109 Emil, Ju87B Stuka and Me 110 Zerstorer.

A selection of 24 online cooperative missions include a range of aircraft in both summer and winter conditions. Three dogfight maps are also included, allowing you to host an ongoing Battle of Britain scenario online as well as a USAAF vs Luftwaffe scenario.

Skin sets allow you to fly with historically correct squadron markings. You may choose the 354th Fighter Group or the 404th Fighter Group for the P47-D or the P51-D. Hundreds of additional skins are available for immediate download via the Skin Library feature.

Training features include WWII video footage designed for familiarization and flight training for the P47 and P51. Fifteen training tracks provide instruction on air to air gunnery, with eight training tracks for pilots of the tricky Me 262 jet fighter. Single training missions allow you to test your own skills in the German jet. A separate twelve page PDF document provides classroom style instruction in air to air combat for budding aces.

Further documents include A Short History of JV44, Development of the Me262 and an interview with a living P47 Thunderbolt ace. Cockpit guides are included for the Bf 109, the P47D, the P51D and the Me 262, as well as takeoff and climb performance charts for the P47-D and P51-D. A German and Russian command chart round out the package.

Ahh, but check out the training content in the add-on. That makes this more than just a "missions and skins" add-on. If you don't like it, don't buy it.
