Just the thing for training timing those high speed akward angle shots....

X1900XTX/8800GTX NOT required

Fastest I managed was Level 2 (Bobcat?)I did achieve a 0.000 reaction time but think that was pure luck. Most of the time I 'jumped the gun'.

I managed a few ,183s and a few .123s. I did get one 0.000...and a two 3 second penalties.

I made second highest catagory because of the 0.000.

I'm sure we could do a lot better if we map the mouse button on the joystick trigger. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

By the 5th time I was down to 0.1622 seconds. The first few times it was in the 0.23 range. I think the trick is to ignore the ones that are moving on the side there and focus on specific movement past a certain point.

We've all got hunters eyes that are adapted for tracking movement so you just have to mentally isolate the movement to a specific area and bingo!

hi all,

The best US pilots in the Vietnam war were in their 40's.

Experience and skill were more important than reaction times.

'If you have to resort to reaction times you have got yourself into a bad situation'. Not sure who said this but it makes sense.

Best Regards,
MB_Avro.

Reminds me of the old bull and young bull joke: a young bull runs up to an old bull, points out a herd of cows, and yelps "Let's run down and jump one of those cows!" The old bull said "Let's walk down and have the whole herd instead."

I'm 42 and I am certian that experienced aggressiveness, out ways rampit aggressiveness.

You put an old guy and a young guy in the same senario the old guy with his years of experience should out smart the young one. If not then the young one must of cheated http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Anymore, age is irrelevant, but society cares too damned much about it and organizations haven't been keeping up. Kinda sucks really.

These sheeps are übermodelled, be sure! Their weight to thrust ratio is porked. I hit none of these barstewards! My excuse is not the age (I'm 20), but beer. Guess I'm gonna try it again tomorrow. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Bad news is that this kinda thing is hard to improve on ...lot of it is in your genetic makeup .

look to the right of the screen, and react with your peripheral vision; it seemed to me that the headbobbing sort of leveled out once I did that I got out of the sluggish snail category (got three 3 second penalties on my first round-that may have been the coffee, tho).

cheers
