I just got home from the hospital (with my new baby girl.) I was there for five days and I never thought I'd have an IL2 withdrawal! I'll never admit it to the wife, but she might be right when she says I'm a flight sim nerd. I think it's official....but I guess we all are. Anyone else ever have withdrawal? I hope I'm not the only one! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

If im having withdrawal while my baby is being born i will be seriously concerned http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

I do get withdrawal, but not bad. I just think about it sometimes and wish i was playing.

LOL I'm not a psycho, the withdrawal didn't start until after she was born. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif Lots of hanging out at the hospital after a c-section.

No, you are not alone. But the levels differ. If I am travelling for a week or so, I am fine by watching tracks on my laptop. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Congratulation for the baby, soon you may realize when you have sleep "withdrawal", too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gifThanks for all the congrats guys... Having a baby is a wake up call for sure, but I think it's just because she wont let me sleep! I haven't been able to fly yet 'cause she still needs attention. All I've been able to do is sit in front of the tube with my laptop...But I don't mind. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/inlove.gif

Hey, first congrats!

Second, you are among freinds. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

DOnt feel too geeky though, I get need flight sim twitchy around luch time every day. Stuck having to wait to get home before I can login in do some flying. I spent Christmas thinkning wow this is 10 hours I dont get to fly 8^(

I only watch about an hour of tv a week. I have also perfected the art of flying while eating dinner.

To top it off, there is one particular map I really like flying on the servers. I kept missing it by doing things like sleeping. So I wrote a screen scrapper that checks the stats page and if the map is up it pages me and tells me how many players are on. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

Yes, I am super geeky http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif
