My girl bought me a gift and wanted me to open it now...
I got a new Track IR 4,,, Its awesome.
So far I have only messed with it for an hour, but I can already tell a difference. I can keep my eyes on the enemy.. It helped inprove on tracking, shooting, and landing...

I recommend it !!

Just ordered mine today.

I hope I like it, it's a pricey gamble.

I had track IR 3 and sent it back because it was too sensitive. The smallest head movement caused it to jump making me keep my head perfectly still. Very unpleasent to use.

good luck on 4 tell us what different

I dont know the difference, never tried the older versions..
Keeping my head in one position does not bother me.. I find myself looking all over the place anyway...

It works great!

You didn't give it a chance m8 the speed can be altered to suit, you also need to factor in a small dead band in the straight ahead position and you need to download a profile like burnins'777.
Believe me you are the loser for sending it back, I would rather give up my joystick.
Don't mean to sound negative bud but TrackIR is the greatest add on you can get.

Hate to say it but I have to agree. I hated my TrackIR 3 Pro for quite a while.. but slowly, incrementally I got used to it. Now I love it. I can fly inverted, keep my eye on the "enemy" and work it much better. Before that it was Wonder Woman and arrows, now it's full pit.

Bought the TrackIR3 last summer. I had the same problems, that I had a hard time keeping my head still and that it overreacted. However, after upgrading with the vector expansion (which should be included in the 4 version) all problems were gone. I can move my head around and it only translates real rotation into the game. After getting used to it I can not imagine how I was able to fly without it.

Same here as Doctor-Pain. Have had Pro3 for a long time but couldn't use it. Decided to move to Vector Expansion and it is a whole new experience. It is so positive, I am now thinking of upgrading to Pro4.

Just a few screws will do.

Track IR 4 was made for a Flat Panel, No screws needed!! It attaches with ease, and it will also sit on any CRT monitor...
