Um...
I typed the word 'draped' in a PM just now. It showed up as d****d. I edited it, typing in 'draped', but it showed up as 'd****d'. A friend of mine posted on another PM, and her word showed up as 'd****'. Is there a filter for the forums now or something? I'm confused... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

YEAH!

I put the second word in one of my chapters and I had to fix it. And I put 'drapes' in one of my PMs and had to put blankets.

The forums doesn't have a filter neccessarily but it DOES automatically filter out swear words. Or swear words inside regular words. But not inside "".

That would explain that, but why does it only work for PM's, then...?

In the "Writing Tips and Tricks" thread, Salacia probably wanted to talk about Charles Dikens (I know I' ve spelled it wrong but watch below...) and it turned out to appear as ####ens. So, I guess there' s a filter on here, too! :/

The forums does have a filter to make sure you do not say anything bad. For instants "grapes" you cannot say it because the inside words are bad words. The forums are trying to keep you safe as well!

there is a basic filter
I think the filter is on the PM's because it is not visible so some people would probaley swear Besides, the mods look at all forum posts
Megan767-the word inside grapes is not a swear word.

Megan767-the word inside grapes is not a swear word. The word inside grapes is not swear, but it does not mean something age appropriate on Imagine Town.

Its like the filter in game, only its just a little more laid back.

On here, I can say "A dress", whereas in game, the filter is trying to keep me from saying something such as "Address".

It is a filter, but its just trying to keep us from referring to anything rude, mean, or inappropriate for all ages.

It just filters out swear words.
Say if the word Fladoodle is a swear word. (It's not.)
If you said GiggleFladoodle it would come up as Giggle#########.
