There are flood ravaged bits of Europe? And I didn't notice, I know it's been raining a bit lately...No wonder everything's so green.

Parts of Southern Ontario were flooded several days ago. Should we start building an ark?

I didn't know...

Keep safe guys. At least you know that all that dehydrated stuff you bought in the 60's for bomb shelters won't go to waste now.

Hold your breath and keep floating, it'll be over soon enough.

Don't know about anywhere else, but especially Vorarlberg, Tirol are concerned, quite some locations are without power, telephone or drinkingwater. Already some injured people.

In Styria (Steiermark) it's a little better now, since the rain there slowed down.

Wonder what will happen, when the water reaches the Danube, then there'll be some problems in Upper-, Lower Austria (Ober- und Nieder√¬∂sterreich) and Vienna too.
Thank god, Salzburg has little to no troubles this time, had our share a couple of weeks ago... But we have seen the sun in the last two weeks only for a day or so, all the other time: it's raining.

I sure am familiar with floods, just ask Lexxhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

My heart goes out to anyone dealing with this sort of thing. Three years ago we hade an ice storm that blacked us out for a week. Talk about missing electric! We had several deaths at that time due to the storm. Lots of older folks had no heat, and froze.

BTW, My sattelite doo-dad is coming very soon. It's just such a pain to even connect right now. Really miss seeing everyone as often as I used to.
