WO: "So here we are then, in the sunny Mediterranean Sea! How do you like that baby-blue water?"
Kaleun: "Ridiculous!"

WO: "Enemy sub spotted, sir! But why haven't they seen us yet? Our boat is roughly the same size as theirs..."

Kaleun: "Because they travel on the surface without manning the bridge! Ridiculous!"

WO: "By now they really ought to have started firing on us, sir! Why don't they do it?"
Kaleun: "Because their forward-facing 'Wintergarten' is blocking their deck gun! Ridiculous! Well, let's put them out of their misery! Tubes I and II - Fire!"

WO: "They are not even trying to evade our fish, sir! A simple emergency dive would probably do it..."
Kaleun: "Because they can't! Dockyard X1 has not given them the ability to dive! Ridiculous!"

WO: "Torpedo impact, sir!"
Kaleun: "Excellent! Finally they have submerged..."

WO: "Well, well...more like sunk without a trace, sir!"

Kaleun: "Without a trace indeed! ZERO tonnes awarded??? Ridiculous!!!"

Wow that is supposed to be a british T-class,
dont make me laugh!

They've taken a VII boat and called it a 'Uboot T Typ', it has no crew, it cant shoot and to top it all off, its weightless! wow! They couldnt even spell T class let alone model one.

-heh great mod http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif

Hey maybe X1 could use there -outstanding talent of 'renaming files'- to make a new expansion pack where they rename all the ship classes in SH3 to match those of the pacific war....

....They could make SHIV in 20 minutes! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

I'm too much of a perfectionist, graphical glitches like that would drive me insane!

Don't forget "BigBrother"!
He should be in there somewhere on a beach with his shades and medalion seeing all.
What you do and download "he" wants to know about.
Good Luck & Good Hunting.

Let's be clear about this; that little story certainly wasn't meant as advertisement. I got the disk as a gift, and since probably not many people here have actually seen SW Med, I thought I was performing a public service...

Sonicboom, if you want lighter water colours for the Med use SH3 Commander to adjust water clarity to max (20). But these SW baby colours do indeed drive you crazy, not least because the sky is more or less the same colour, and they have therefore introduced a sand-coloured artificial horizon, looking like a coastline, clearly visible even if you are miles from land. Horrible! And the trees are exactly the same as in GW.

As for the spyware, as claimed on this forum previously, I'm not too worried really; I use this computer and this internet connection for nothing but gaming-related activities; for any serious stuff I got a separate computer and internet connection. Even the gaming-related e-mail address is a separate one from my normal one. Let's see whether in the future its inbox gets spammed (won't do them any good, I can guarantee you that). Needless to say that I've since uninstalled SW Med, performed a thorough system cleanup and then reverted to GW.

Also Sonic, UBRS has many "Water Mods" to choose from.
