Press PrtSc on your keyboard.
Pix are saved in your rootfolder as .tga

Tip: When you have made several screenshots and shut down the game the next time you make some screenshots it will overwrite the first ones.
So make sure you save them somewhere else.

As far as I know you can make 20 screenshots, if more it will overwrite the first ones. If modded more screenies are possible.

To take screenshots its still PrintScreen button, the pics are saved in your main il2 folder, they will be called grab0001.tga the more pics you take, the higher the numbers will go. InfranView is a good program to convert the .tga files to jpeg.

Yeah, what they said! Seriously have fun with it, it's one of the best things about the game! I love taking snapshots http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif You may find yourself spending hours just watching tracks and taking screenshots. If you want a few examples then just message me and I'll send u an E-mail or something. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The key and the save location have been the same in every version of the game from the original IL2 Sturmovik in 2001 through all the sequels, add-ons, patches and expansions. In all of them the save location is the folder where the game is installed (by default something like C:\Program Files\Pacfic Fighters\ for that version).
In all version the screenshots are saved with file names like:

grab0000.tga
grab0001.tga
grab0002.tga
grab0003.tga
etc

You may need a program like Irfanview to view them as many basic picture viewers do not like .tga format files.

As mentioned above, if you want to keep screenshots, rename or move them before you start the game again or they will be overwritten the next time you take screenshots.

Irfanview (picture browser and editor) is free. You can get it here.

Oops, forgot some stuff. If you're not getting files such as I mention above when you press the printscreen key, go to the game folder and find the file called conf.ini
Open it using notepad and look for the section that starts:
<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">[HotKey game]
PrintScreen=ScreenShot</pre>
If the PrintScreen=SreenShot line is not present, add it and save the file.

Also, if you're playing on a laptop, the PrintScreen key may need a separate function key be pressed to work correctly. Many laptops combine the system request keys (Printscreen, Scroll Lock and Break) with other keys to save space on the keyboard. When they do this they have a seperate key you must press in conjuction with the system request key for it to work with that function instead of the alternate function.
