I've just got IL2 Sturmovik and was wondering if anyone can post links for downloading stuff for this game (IL2 first release, not FB), so I save time looking for myself /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

For IL-2 Sturmovik ONLY!

Install over the box version in the following order:

1.) il2upgrade_1.1a.exe (75 MB)

2.) il2upgrade_1.2.exe (28.4 MB)

If - and ONLY if - you want to modify voice files

3.) il2upgrade_1.2ov.exe - (38.1Mb)

Please use 3dgamers for downloads. You'll be glad you did./i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

What I did for the English voice is, go here in your game files:


C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\samples\Speech


Open the SPEECH folder, then, COPY and paste the US folder and rename it to the country which you want to change. Such as rename the US folder to RU, then, move the Original RU folder to a "safe" spot, and move the "new renamed" RU folder in. Then, all the voices you hear that used to speak Russian will now be in English.
