Because, frankly, It's time to move on. There is no reason to have 27 mods and Airmail up my butt. I wish someone would tell me where I went wrong with that kid. I hope he isn't still upset because I used the word "Paki". I just get tired of this kid trying to imitate Raiiid, who I am also quite tired of. (There look, I finished a sentence with a preposition. I'm not perfect.).

I think this needs to get ironed out before I get banned by the Netherlands mod, who is out there lurking.

Airmail, you have called me names and insulted me many times before. I don't get it. You have plenty of supporters around here. Everybody knows you can't take a joke, so just let it lie.

I wonder if Indians ever get tired of being called pakis.

Extra Geography classes need, me thinks.

I don't know. Maybe they get tired of being called Apaches, too.

Calling someone a 'Paki' is an extremely insulting thing to do in the UK.Probably enough to get you into court for racial harrassment.

It's a bit like a white American using the "N" word, there's bound to be a reaction.

Hold on, let's not get this sidetracked. I had no idea at the time about the insult value of the word. I was straightened out and have not used it since.

Aww, you know what? Just forget it. Life is too short for this. I can't let myself get upset by an 18 year old and a guy who wants us to believe he is a moron. I'm the one who's crazy. I have a good job and I should be working on that.

What a mess this internet thing has turned out to be.

The net is what you make it,and its wise not to take it too seriously on a forum.I used to do that, and its really not worth it.If someone gets to you, ignore them,or put their posts on ignore,or complain to the management (that works lol)

You know the basics of flying but you have to completely change how you attack and defend yourself, in essence you are learning a new style of fighting. If you do get Lock On I have a couple of pieces of advice

1. If you choose to fly as a fighter, choose a Russian jet (MiG-29 or Su-27) because the cockpit layout and the avionics are sub standard compared to the American aircraft. The idea behind this is that if you master the MiG or Su then the F-15 should be duck soup.

2. Play the training missions, I almost threw my disc out of the window after being downed for the twelth time in a row by a AIM-9L carrying A-10 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif, then I played the training missions and improved drastically.

3. Don't rely entirely on the Ubisoft Lock On forum, it has been pretty dead since its creation. I posted a comment on a topic in October and up until last month it was still the last comment and the topic was still on page 1. If you have any questions, your best bet is here.
http://forums.eagle.ru/?langid=1

4. Get Flaming Cliffs! The FM and DM for the Su-25 and the addition of the Su-25T are a great improvement. You have to use a gentle flying technique to fly the Su-25T properly, even in combat (step the ball, correct trimming, no yanking and banking). If you don't you will either be shot down in five seconds or you will just auger in without any enemy activity.

5.Have patience, during the first few weeks you will make so many craters that the Russian countryside will look like a moonscape.

Too hard to learn right off the bat. He needs a new fix pronto. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I always find getting away from flying sims for a while makes one appreciate them all that much more when you decide to try them again after a bit of a break.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/partyhat.gif

Long story but ending a sentence in a preposition is perfectly fine in English. The rule you are thinking about is a leftover from the Norman invasion (1066) and occupation (200 years) of England and actually refers to Latin.

He is what you and I might call a young "whipper-snapper". Never knew what that meant other than someone is young. He's harmless.

Don't take him seriously. Remember, he's tucked away safely at home behind a bulletproof pc. In person I'm sure he'd be totally different.

I haven't seen where he's been name calling and such(not to say it isn't true). I usually don't read every thread. But feel free to pm any mod and make your case. I'll call his mom and have him grounded. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

Everyone wants to be part of a decent community and in order to have a decent community we need decent people. I've been in your shoes before and have even lost sleep over posts. What makes things difficult for people like you and I is that we actually make ourselves responsible for what we post. Where we fail is when we expect everyone else to do the same.

I suggest you take a little time off. Do something procrastination has kept you from doing. We'll be here when you get back and you will still be a part of our community.

Fritz

Lol I don't ever remember you using that word. The first time I remember finding out you didn't like me was when you created an entire thread to call me and a few others annoying.

Which may be true. But I felt the need to spam that thread in French, I have only insulted you in one thread although admittedly it was probably about a dozen times. I got banned for it though. I served my time.

Other than that I haven't done anything recently to you apart from post a "http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif" in response to your rather mean treatment of a newbie.

I don't make inflammatory posts against a single person unless they aim them at me first, any somewhat explosive post by me is usually a general one. However, I have no qualms in going balls out in response to any personal attack. I'm not a nasty person but I don't like BS, or any of this talking behind peoples backs. If you annoy me I tell you to "F*** Off" to your face.

I'm going to post no more in this thread. I've already walked a fine line today and amazingly survived.

That said, I am willing to apologize to you Breeze for any over the top responses by me to you.

Honestly Breeze despite me and you having our differences I don't want to see you go and I hope I haven't been really hurtful to you in some way.

Your entitled to this place as much as I am. I feel bad now.

I really really didn't have a go at you for using that "P" word, or at least I don't remember. If you really didn't know what It meant then It must have been some misunderstanding.

Actually feel ****e now, Breeze seems genuinely down.

I did have a go at him once, and I mean quite a go (I swore at him in French) after he called me and a few others annoying. But I can be. I've sent him a personal apology over PM.

Thats the only time I can recall though.
