View Full Version : Belly/Crash landing?

Has anyone noticed how much harder it is to belly land in PF? It seems that the U.S. Naval planes(Corsair,Hellcat,Wildcat, and the Dauntless)have a tendency to flip over if you try. The U.S. Army Air Corp. planes seem to crash land fine on the exception that sometimes the wing dips causing you to cartwheel a bit. Has anyone else noticed this?

I've had to crash land the Corsair on the beach several times and have survived - and I usually don't have a whole lot of luck with forced landings (screeeecccchhh...BLAM). Perhaps the beach is an easier place to land? Also, I seem to remember that the Corsair had a tendency to dip a wing at stalling speed.

Can't be any worse than CFS 2.

It doesn't explode but it flips on its back if you make a forced wheels up landing.
