not sure about the first part but i believe the "Jamping and breaking on unprepared airfield" might have something to do with the severe bounces planes have when not landing on the runway.

The 2.4 drivers were probably the latest when this patch was started....or when the readme was written.

Pretty sad ain't it.

Ya But is it going to be easier to land on non prepared surfaces or Harder ?

Personaly I dont think you should be able to land with wheels down excpet for prepared fields & dirtroads

Only belly landings should be allowed in other parts of the maps...

jmo tho

I realy hope the driver thing is a typo

well if the jump and break is said to be fixed, i guess that would mean planes will be easier to land off-runway. will have to wait and see.

A 'jamp' was a devise developed by Fokker during WWI. It was installed in the initial batch of Bf-109E's deployed on the Eastern Front and proved to be an immense success - later to be copied by the Soviets on the Yak-series.

Basically it was a kitten glued to the tail end. On bumpy airfields, the non-adhesive glue would be release the kitten that would then be clogged in the tail wheel, locking it. The process was known as 'jamping' and dramatically reduced the length of runway needed to slow down. It came at a terrible price in kittens though.
