I saw this has been released and wondered if its worth getting?

Is it the earlier T72 balkans on fire engine crafted into a newer game ? Anyone know?

Control panel right from T-72 BALKANS ON FIRE---a roaring dud of a tank sim. Be consoled, STEEL BEASTS 2 may have Russian equipment.

Looks just like Balkans on fire to me, but it could be another game using the same engine or something.

It is the European release of T-72 Balkans on Fire. Previously it was only available direct from the US/Canadian publishers. No changes to the original. Just another way of making cash from a simgame that is pretty much forgotten.

Try Steelbeasts 2 Pro PE - a real sim and a hell of a lot more fun with great support and active modding.

MadBadVlad... do you use a joy stick when running the game [Steelbeasts]?

Woofiedog - yes I use the Saitek X-52, gunnery etc. on the joystick and driving on the throttle stick. Works very well.

MadBadVlad... Mint, Thank's for the info. I was checking out this site about SB2 and was reading where the author was saying it was best played using a joy stick.
Still running my trusty Old MS Sidewider Precision 2... but overall SB2 looks Very interesting.

I gotta admit I do like the look of Steel Beast's (it appeals to my mech warrior instincts) and the fact that it is online enabled is very 'Interesting'.

Does anyone here own this and play it online?
