maybe you should uninstall the game before format?

Usually you format because your computer is messed up and you can't access Windows to uninstall games...

I though the CD-key is sotred on your ubi account. so as long as you log back into the same account you should be fine right?

If not, well you 've got another reason to hate ubisoft and their DRM

Whats more helpful than a way to contact someone who knows more (or has access to info) about how the game and server works than the general public?

It would have been helpfull, if the support pages was actually working when the DRM servers wasnt... it took me three days to actually get in to the support pages, and when they finally worked they was so slow that they pinged out when I tried to send my request.

Not very helpful in other words.

Telling someone their sensible advice wasn't helpful and not bothering to explain that it wasn't helpful because of something you'd previously forgotten to mention isn't going to help your case much. Now that we've got the info though, I'd still recommend tring to get the message through the support page if possible, and to otherwise keep an eye out here as well, and hopefully it'l get passed on to the right people via the forums. I'd also suggest a post in the actual tech support forum, rather than the general discussions one. Just a thought.
