I just highlighted and copied this off the Comp USA website when I pre-oredered my copy of PF. Alot of people have been asking with no real responce, so here you are...

It looks like support for non T&L cards has been removed from PF, going by that listing? Is this true?

With the details turned down and enough CPU and memory, FB/AEP is quite playable on even a TNT2 Vanta, even in large battles. Given the amount of flat water in PF I'd think it could do even better than FB for air to air battles, speed wise. It would be a shame to cut out people with old hardware who - at least with the engine in FB/AEP - could be having a decent time of playing.

should be fine on excellent settings
