What, you mean playing tricks on the poor helpless AI? /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

When I fly a 109 against a bunch of I-16's, I exploit the superior power of the 109's engine to put the I16's below me, where I pick them off 1 by 1 at my leisure.

Is pretty odd what Emil can do these days. Was doing 41 campign in the south (Crimea, that is) in an E4. The sky went gray because of the number of planes , I think they were 20 russian i-16's and I knew that these LMG's from Emil are pretty useless against I-16, but the cannon ,OMG! Two times shooting at them they exploded in mid air and another two were downed due to damage. Is the best flight I've ever had in an e4 so far! Not to mention that the AI stole my kill over a SB bomber , whatever... I'll pay that back.

I shot down 8 veteran P39's with my trusty A8. But it's single player, so who gives a damn? I don't.

Whether you play online or offline, it's good to use all the exploits the real pilots used.

Granted, I'm still pretty much a IL2/FB n00b but yesterday evening I was flying in the German Fighter campaign in support of the attack at Kursk when more VVS aircraft showed up over my airfield then I have ever seen before, turns out there were something like 20.

I was able to bag 10 of the buggars but that is not what gets me and drove me to post...

Lifting off and seeing the sky darken with so many AC as they approached, did. I was really tickled. I never had seen that many enemy AC in the air, in one location, at one time.

Kudos to the designers and developers, you made this WWII buff really pleased.

The other day I shot down 7 Stuka's and a BF-109 in an I-16. Two of the Stuka's I shot with rockets. The others I just refused to fire unless I had a perfect shot at a good angle.
BF-109's flame easy with a little MG fire to the nose.

I have prop pitch on a slider. I drop it to 50% in a P-39 and outturn everything. Well As long as I keep my speed above 280K.
