Just wondered what other forum members use as plane 'substitutes' I like to fly an Arado in Japanese colours as for me it has a Japanese seaplane look to it. The IL4 looks 'Italian' to me also and therefore gets roped in on the Med/N africa map.

There are Japanese members on these forums. Most Japanese people find te term J** offensive so please refrain from using it in the future.

There are loads, but H8K as a Sunderland is an obvious one. The DB-3s get used for both Italian and Japanese substitutes.

Cheers!

Before we got the Betty, IL4 usuallt did the job, and the Great War enthusiasts (like me) have used all the biplanes + P11 for the old WWI kites.

There are Japanese members on these forums. Most Japanese people find te term J** offensive so please refrain from using it in the future.

Didn't mean to offend. Apologies. That said it's made me think in that I wonder what any Japanese players make of some of the Ozzie 'chat' in one the chatpacks. I don't say that flippantly but in all seriousness.

Again , I'm genuinely sorry if I caused offence.

For flight model ONLY, mg armed MiG-3 should make good early Ki-44, although the -3 may be a bit too fast up high.

Its funny though, both were created for the exact same mission, and were totally opposite in design appearance.

P-38 was the other with the same mission, and here the -3 and -44 look exactly the same compared to -38. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
