I have never downloaded an IL2 movie since I'm on 56k and well... it's a b1tch. Anyway I'm looking for suggestions. If you had to choose just one track, which would it be?

Thanks. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Oops. Yeah, I meant movie. I assume they are more visually entertaining... although I'm sure this is some spectacular tracks out too (suggestions on those as well?).

Requiem is the best out, another good small one is snow and fire, both have low res version of them available, and are both definatly worth the download even for your 56k!!

Hi

Yes i will agree that Requiem is the best so far but in close second place would come Stranger (Davinci give yourself some credit !!!), then Snow and Fire, The Beginning of the End (I16Fan), Stalingrad.

Have you checked Hauptmann99 movie list on Sunstar Entertainement site ?

Well i've have downloaded all of them (almost 1 Gb of files) thanks to my T1 conexion at the office...wich i use ONLY SOMETIMES to download movies and OTHER STUFF.

Good flight to you !

Greetings, NTESLA,

If I remember correctly, Requiem was 1st winer. I think your first link does not reference Requiem movie. I may be wrong, but I believe that original Requiem movie had different soundtrack plus it was only about FW-190.

Regards,

Taras

if i remember correctly Requiem was not eligible for the contest(cant remember why) and thats why you dont see it on the winners list.

something about it broke one of the contest rules http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif which is a shame because it would have been first, no question.

I wrote about this subject before and it really was the main reason me and my Dad started the Hauptman99's picks list on Mr.UCLANUPE'S movie site. There more than one hundred FB movies that have been made. I don't think that anyone in the community, save a couple of people has actually seen them all. I was surprised how many people had not seen the totally cool NYD by Shultze & Schulze in the States. (You really need to see it if you have not)

Our lists gives credits to the film makers by category. like best drama about real people over 6 minutes and best team stunt movie with 3 or more members etc.. This way each movie gets the proper credit for all of the hard work the movie makers put into each movie.

I appreciate ALL of the movies made by members. I also appreciate the number of helpful movie makers in the community, especially UCLANUPE AND NTESLA. These men are totally cool and helpful. That's why I like them, cause the movie making is NOT a competition for them, they just like to have fun. They also happen to be two of the most talented movie makers in this community. We feel(Me and my Dad) that there is enough talent AND different types of movies to spread the credits for best around.

So that is my shameless plug for my picks list. You should all get these great movies and enjoy them. I bet after doing so you will agree that the kudos need to be spread around cause there are ALOT of talented directors in this wonderful community.~S~

"Of all my accomplishments I may have achieved during the war, I am proudest of the fact that I never lost a wingman. It was my view that no kill was worth the life of a wingman. . . . Pilots in my unit who lost wingmen on this basis were prohibited from leading a [section]. They were made to fly as wingman, instead."

Hysyde,

The best thing for you is to do what UCLANUPE suggested:

"Hey there, welcome to the FB movie community. I think you may enjoy this link. It outlines how to receive as many of the IL-2FB movies on CD as you desire for FREE.
