Use it against a formation of bombers with 1 second delayed fuse.

I fire them at those speedy allied fighters pulling away from me. I use a 2 second delay.

I use them with a one second delay in head ons.

Does anyone have any hints about firing distances to use with 1sec delay during head-on and/or from behind?

I understand it all depends on closing speed, but is there a good rule of thumb?

For an approach from the six, ie not a screamingly high closure rate, a 1 second delay gives a burst between 200m and 250m, usually close to 220m for me.

I've never used these - I will go and try!
