For some reason, I don't recall why, the campaign doesn't work with the earlier dates. The Enjoyr patches include all the readmes from the add-on campaigns, find the one from those campaigns for an explanation as well as recommended conf.ini setups.

hmm i noticed all the campaigns for the raf i generated in my `gb` campaign folder that should start way befor 1942 say this in them..

Campaign\GB\dgen_z_1939_ardennesdoe0

20101.properties
Description \n \nYour squadron commander is Wing Commander Avery\n\n\nJanuary 1,1942 1315 hours\nWeather: Clear (as you can see 1st mission and its 1942 already http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif)

info.properties
Name * Fighter. Ardennes, '42
Description Dynamic campaign for American fighter pilot. Ardennes, 1942

and...all my raf campaigns are for a american fighter pilot http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif

i was about to do a full reinstall (dreading it) thinking id cocked somthing up but perhaps you are correct, ill read through some readmes. thanks for the suggestion.

anyone know what actually adds the ....
`belgium 1939 phoney war`
`belgium 1940 blitzkrieg`
and `france 1940 battle of france` missions to the game, got so much stuff installed i forgot where they came from http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Open the Enjoyr zip file and you will find the readmes in a folder. Also, the Enjoyr patch installs a readme folder with all the readmes in your IL-2 root directory. Those campaigns came with the Enjoyr patch.

It's not a cockup, it a programing issue, having something to do with the DGen.exe IIRC.

i found it, below,

The dates of the campaign are faked (1942), cause there was no way to set them to the correct time into 1940;

for the german Luftwaffe early war campaign (the JG 27 campaign) it did work, no idea why it didnīt here with this campaign.

thanks man, i was so close to reinstalling, i can breathe a sigh of reliefeven though the dates are nigglin me but ill have to get my imagination out http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

No problem. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yeah, I would dread a reinstall, with all the stuff I have installed right now.

What if you don't use DGEN but instead DCG? Here is Link. (http://www.lowengrin.com/news.php)

Year: The year of the campaign. It is not recommended that you set this date earlier than 1939 or later than 1945.
