I have read some other forums and it seems to me that everyone is feeling the same way. AC is getting to easy. alot of the sugestions i completely agree with ubisoft would gain alot by taking them seriously. i however have one more.
Remember back in AC 1, one of the achievments was to assinate every "Templer". im sure everyone will agree these guards were hard and frightening when being chased by one.very hard to kill and enough to make you think twice about open conflict. i thought the Papal Guards were going to be the same. i was disapointed. Even my assassin recruits can beat then 2-1.
To be honest anyone who is a big AC fan will agree that when the game is completed we still want to feel abit of fear when roaming the city. knowing your THE best fighter in the city makes roaming Rome very nearly boring. a Papal Guard download perhaps. Fill the streets with them at random. better fighters then Ezio himself. it will mix things up abit.make things more interesting for us AC players who feel we cannot be beaten!!

Templars were harder to defeat because our move set was more limited in AC1 but I do miss the intimidation factor they bought with them.

Papal guards ARE easy to defeat, the gun, recruits, cross bow and smoke bomb really make us over powered.
Funnily enough, the most irritating guard AI now has to be the one that is fast when he chases you, they are always hosing up my free flow escape attempts and forcing me to smite them.
Horseback guards are an nice addition but once the method is figured out they are easy to dispatch too.

Bring back the Templar Knights and their awesomeness.....it seems a lot of us are missing getting our butts kicked!

I wholly agree. I loved the challenge of the Templar Knights in AC1. Although, they weren't much of a challenge. Still they were much better fighters than the normal guards. I wanted to see something to that effect in ACB. The Swiss Guards are better fighters than the norm, but there isn't enough of them around the city, and they aren't hard to kill if you really wanted them dead. You have to go to the Papal Castle to fight them too. There should've been a lot more of them around, or, they should've been a lot tougher.

They need special types of soldiers that won't die easily and pose a threat to your assassin recruits. Those recruits just don't die unless you send them on a suicide mission. What I personally would also like to see is people hunting you down. Bounty hunters basically. A price is put on your head and somebody comes to collect from time to time. These guys could be assassins themselves [but not of the same order as you] or they could be Templars, or they could be mercenaries, and etc etc.
