Now that I just aquired my vector expansion for TrackIR, (OMG *drool*) has anyone of you guys coughed up the $25 to try it out?

It sure looks extremely well done on from the website info here: http://www.realairsimulations.com/

If any of you have it please give me a quick review and talk me into buying this...(or out of) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif I need more WWII planes to get my 6DOF fix on! Cessna's don't cut it!

I've not tried it, but have seen some fantastic screenshots with it. By all accounts, it's extremely well done in all aspects and highly recommended. One of the best models for FS2004 ever, I hear.

I have it and must admit it flies well and graphically is very nice, BUT, with what is available for free I really don't think it worth the money..of course its over 40 bucks in Canuck money so that may make a difference..:-)Most others I have spoken to think it well worth it...so FWIW, the choice is yours, which prolly doesn't help worth a ****.

I have it. It is simply stunning. Awesome flight model. Mega-detailed Virtual cockpit with both WWII visuals and Modern Civy visuals switchable via a utility that comes with the plane. Headshake is modeled and adjustable using the same utility.

Is it worth the $34.00 I paid for it....Maybe not, but I'd probably pay that much for a good 109, p51 and a couple of others if they'd make em.

I guess what I'm saying is, I DO think that it is a bit pricey, but I'd probably still spend the money...

But does it have machine guns?

They are on the plane if that is what you mean.

Do they fire? No. I don't think FS2k4 has that ability

X-Plane does, but I don't think it has damage profiles for ballistics.

No, it's only good for mock engagements as far as I know.

I haven't played MSFS since about '94 or so. I'd like to try it again and see what's been improved in the last decade.
Is there an online component to it? I remember getting bored on some long flights, it might be more fun if you can fly with a couple buddies, even if you can't shoot them.
