Here are some (vehicle) pics of my current minimod. It is focused on late war (tank) prototypes and drawing table projects.
There will be five new vehicles (3 German, 1 Russian and 1 American) and 3-4 SP maps.
Here are some pictures:

Cromtec,

Your models looks very nice but there is a couple of details that disturbs my Pz.Kpfw. IV loving eyes... or in this case, the Kügelblitz. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The crewhatches do look at bit to stretched out and so do the service hatch on the glacis. And another thing you migth want to correct is the location of the Drivers visor and the hull MG. These should be relocated a bit further inwards and not located at the corners as they are right now. Please do not take this wrong, they are very nicely made and you are obviously much more skilled at texturizing and skinning than me! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

But just a question, why not make some vehicles that wasn´t just prototypes or made in just one or two examples? I really would like to see a nicely done Stug III Ausf. G... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

~Zeke.

Ps.
The Kügelblitz should also only have one headlight --- the left! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Nitpicking, yep I know! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for your comments.
@Zeke_Wolff:
I'll see how your suggestions look like with the texturing. Thank you http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. I'm no expert on tank design. That's why I try to get the best scale drawings I can get. In this case those by George Bradford (World War Two AFV Plans, Stackpole is the publisher).
I'm just a beginner when it comes to texturing but thanks for the flowers http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I do these, rather strange vehicles, because I want to see what happens when an E100 fights an T28 or whatnot. I love this game because it provides the tools and an open API to make it happen. My interest is focused more on the bizarre or extraordinary because the well known and used tanks are already there. Besides, I can't improve them.

Hi Cromtec !
I´m glad you have been proceeding so well since our last discussion . But as well as Zeke I have something to propose in terms of the Maus Tank in connection with the SP maps.

At the "Versuchsgelände ******sdorf" there have been two mouse prototypes , one with a dummy turret ,the V1, and one fully equipped one , the V2 . In official statements it has been claimed that both of the prototypes have been destoryed by their crews when the russians where approaching the "Versuchsgelände" and the unit defending it , but unofficial sources say that the Mouse V2 was left intact and has been used to fight the approaching russians .
So wouldn´t it be cool to have map a where you´ve got to defend the "Versuchsgelände ******sdorf" with the defending unit ,which consisted of the personell of the site and some soldiers from tank companies , an Tiger II , a Jagdtiger , a Panther , two US Shermans , one italian P40 and a few "Ladungsträger B-IV" and of course the mouse V2 .

greetings ,

Italian P.40 Heavy Tank reference (if you even bother to model it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ) :

In 1940 the need for a "heavy" tank was perceived by the Italians and plans were drawn up into what became the P.40 (originally designated as the P.75). The prototype was tested in early 1942 and mounted a 75/18 gun/howitzer and was powered by a 330hp diesel engine. Armament on the first prototype was changed to the longer 75/32 gun. This was the gun selected for use on all production models. The diesel engine proved to be wanting and consideration was given to the V12 engine from captured Soviet T-34 tanks! Productions models of the tank were equipped with a 420hp gasoline engine. No P.40, completed prior to the Italo-Allied armistice, saw service with Italian armored units. All units produced were captured and added to German stock. Some hulls, without engines, were dug in and used as static forts. Some sources state that 21 while others state 24 units were produced under Italian administration. As many as 80 were produced by the Italians under German direction.

Thanks,
Two more tanks to do. Missions are at 30%. It still takes some time.

I don't have any data about the ROF and muzzle velocity of the shell. Was it close to the 105mm shells in the game or was it a high velocity ammo? Can somebody help please?

Thanks
