View Full Version : Least wanted add-on plane?

This community is so spoiled when it comes to flyable planes, I wonder what aircraft is the least wanted for an add-on?

Only aircraft that saw action in WW2 applies!
(not sure if transports should count)

Err, Dunklegrun, your sig has just told me what my IP address and ISP is. Has it told the rest of the world what my IP address is? I find that thought rather disturbing.

Oh, by the way, how about the Wellington?

Don't worry, it tells me what my IP/ISP is and you what yours is. This info is not hard to get, loads of websites do it as a gimmick or to display the website for MSIE/Netscape/whatever.

Hmmm...I might just become a Spitfire-with-floats-whiner now... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Phew, that's a relief. I think. Anyway, how about the Fairey Battle? That's got to be a shoe-in. The Fairey Fulmar can't be far behind, either.

Ditto, we got enough of the uber talk with La7's and Ki's, the LAST thing we need is uber planes that didn't even fly in WW2 (yeah I know about Mig3U, at least it's only competitive)

The 6 Mig 3Us that were built did fly in combat. They were flown without loss until their engines needed overhaul, then were parked.

The YP-80 and Go-229 did fly during WWII. Anyways, I agree with Korolov. I welcome any plane as long they are from the WWII timeframe,or within 3-4 years before or after the war...

dornier i185 p80 go229 109z online

I want to fly them badly offline, and the modelers did excellent work as well as the cockpits and plane textures but dont want to see them online.

Go-229, Me109-Z, P-80. A big questionmark for the He-162.

Those plane are the ones makings an otherwise serious product doubtful. Also the Bi-1 - take it away! I hope that every serveradmin have some common sence when settin up the a/c.

The first time that I came across that clever sig I was worried too. After figuring it out I thought "I must get one of those" but it costs too much, so I'll dump it when my freebies have expired. Fun for a couple of minutes though. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yes,

I will probably fly them badly offline too,

but I'm sure we will improve with practice.

the new add-on would have been "pay for" even WITHOUT the extra AC, which were created for FREE...you don't have to but it if you don't want it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

you don't HAVE to play on servers that allow them.

i would say the IVL Myrsky (Storm). The only home grown Finnish fighter would make an unpopular add on. I dont have a pic but it is a radial engined low wing monoplane of wooden consruction. Top speed 530kmh and armed with 4 21.7mm brownings.Did not enter into service until 1944.

I like all of the planes we get...ANY plane is a good one as long as its within the historical timeline - flown properly or not. Since many of those what if planes are done by third party modelers there is absolutely no grounds to stand on suggesting that time was better spent elsewhere. The modeler spent his/her time on whatever they pleased...

Any extra plane is a good one...I look foward to the real stuff like Spitfires, Tempests, and Typhoons not to mention the medium bombers, and a flyable B-17 or Lancaster.

Tirpitz?

It looks very good and has enough guns for a
dozen dozens of B-17s, but top speed and top
alt are practially zero.
