Ok...a bit of a weird one here. I am flying on autopilot..and all is well. However, if I hit F1 (ie to get back to cockpit view...or even if I am already in cockpit view and just hit F1 for some reason...my autopilot disengages. It never used to happen. Can anyone help me set it so that it stays on if I hit F1 please?

You can't change it. The programmer just forgot a condition on the F1 button: if[not in cockpit view] then CallAutopilotOFF()

Have you tried turning off the autopilot automation? I know that affects gunners, but no idea of the effect in the pilots seat. AND I STILL WANT A SEPARATE BOMBARDIER!!

Sorry for yelling... it's my biggest sore point with IL2/FB

What Aardvark892 said. You need to go into your controls setup and check what "Autopilot Automation" is set to (I think it's SHIFT+A by default. At least, mine is). Then in the game press that key(s) so you see "Autopilot Automation Off" appear on the screen.

Autopilot Automation might work though - assign a key under "Controls" to it...
