Probably a silly thing to notice, but I like the looks of the twist in the prop blades. I hope that carries over to the prop in flight. Or at least have the option of it. It might not be accurate in some peoples eyes but it makes it more believable to me. It gives me a better sense of motion.

I think I actually did a little subconscious whimper looking at that first one ...that building is awesome...this game will be amazing ...Its got to be released for September 15 2010 in my opinion...

It does look like it`s getting closer to completion.

But I`m wondering... what about the hordes of He111s? Surely they must have done something about that by now? How come we have no screen shots of them? Or swirling spits and 109s among them? They are going to be absolutely indispensible in a BOB campaign.

I have to refuse to get excited for now.

Oleg showed a the effect of blade pitch change in a Stuka animated pic. You can see the propeller changing shape.

First two user mods for BoB:

Swastika enabler mod
Lawn mower mod

If these were done in DX9, I can't wait to see what it might look like in DX10. Has anyone heard about possible DX11 support?

I wonder if these pics may be old shots compared to the last few updates since OM is sick. They just don't have the same level of detail as the last couple of updates. I know these are taken in DX9 but they have a similar UE2 quality like BIA or something.

Oleg has said that there will be DX11 support. I believe I read that at the banana forum.

Not possible, but confirmed by Oleg! SoW will have dx9, dx10, and dx11!

Guess no one`s interested in an actual authentic multiple He111 bomber attack sortie with Hurris, spit and 109s involved as long as the props are just right.

Single ultra nice looking aircraft will not SOW BOB make.

The airplanes that are going into the sim have already been constructed, and a list of the flyables has been confirmed.

Right now FMs are being built, and then comes insertion into the actual game engine.

The He-111 cockpit has been presented before. So, I think/hope the plane will make its appearance as soon as it is completed.

These trees look fantastic.

No, I agree anything less than very large formations of German bombers won't recreate the BoB. How that will be accomplished and still be able to run well on home computers I don't know. Hopefully Oleg has it figured out.
