If you have noticed, in V1.1b the oil cooler of IL-2 plane is vulnerable again... and more than that, in QMB when I carefully shot down 4 IL-2s with 109E´s MGs only, they belly-landed almost intact but were registered as kills /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

but my original question is, IL-2´s radiator is vulnerable, P40s oil/water radiator is also vulnerable (1 bullet from MG17 is enough - try it at arcade mode) but on other planes it doesn´t work. The oil (or glycol) cooler under Hurricanes or Yaks belly, or wing coolers of Bf109 should be also susceptible to the damage. In reports from BoB, you read quite often "the stream of glycol pouring from the wings" etc. In reality, the glycol, oil and fuel system were the most frequent reason the planes went down. I don´t think it is complicated to implement that.

Yes,
Also the Bf-109 oil-cooler is very vulnerable, unlike Yaks and LaGGs...

And the water-radiator damage is not simulated at all. I think this is a major drawback, and if I remember correctly it was promised it would be included in FB...
I think several days before the patch Oleg said they were workink over DM, so maybe there will be some improvements in a later patch...
