Turner Classic Movie Channel is playing tonight a series of 1940s war films centered in the pacific theater.

Intersperced between the movies are peroid documentary and training films. Appointment in Tokyo is on now. Latter tonight the AAF training film....recognising Japanese Aircraft. I've never seen this one...might be worthwhile to watch.

I'm partial to Air Force, a film centered around a B17E crew transiting to the Philippines, via Hawaii, in December of 1941.

Air Force has some Great Aircraft scenes and also some rare Birds.
