Buy 1946. PF is included in 1946. 1946 is the culmination of the entire Il-2 series.

Yes, buy '46. If you just buy PF you don't get a single seat flyable torpedo bomber. Buy '46 and you do!!! See, already it makes sense.

We have a single seat torpedo bomber in '46? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

IL2T - 2seats
A20G - multi crew
B25G - multi crew
G4M - multi crew
He111H - multi crew

Am I missing something here!?

Is there such a thing as a single seat torpedo bomber?

IIRC, most VBT aircraft had at least two and in most cases three crew members

And to answer the original question, get 1946, it includes ALL previous content of the Il-2 series and will be a hell of a lot easier to find, as well as cheaper than buying ech piece seperately.

46 has Pacific Fighters included in it, plus SO MUCH MORE, so definitely get 46. You will not regret it.

Now you're asking. Depends what you want to do. If you want to attack a 4 carrier battle group with full flak and 100 planes with all graphics options set to full throttle you need an up to date system with the latest GPU. If you want medium good graphics with a six plane dog fight and no flak then a 4 year old system'll do that just fine. The game's scaleable on many levels, not just graphics but the scale of the engagement you're invovled in.

Can't Beaufighter carry torpedos? Since the dome guy is missing, then that's a single-seat.

Yes...but they had to take turns sitting down.
