11-10-2007, 12:13 PM
I'm going to go to Acre, I like the tone of the city, the nice blue. What about you guys? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

11-10-2007, 12:14 PM
acre all the way

11-10-2007, 12:15 PM
Damascus... There's just something about it that I feel warrants me spending some time there...

11-10-2007, 12:16 PM
where ever my first mission is

11-10-2007, 12:17 PM
The nice yellow warm tone to Damascus is pretty cool. Jerusalem it a little more green I believe. After acre though I want to go site seeing in Jerusalem, check out some places I learned about. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

11-10-2007, 12:19 PM
Jerusalem,then Damascus.
I dunno why... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

11-10-2007, 12:21 PM
I`ll go to the masyaf(or how is it called?) - assassin`s stronghold, look the atmosphere and teach newbies how to assassinate xD

11-10-2007, 12:22 PM

Yeah, i'll difinatly pay the assassin's stronghold a visit first.

I like Jerusalem, but it does'nt really matter to me where i go, as long as guards are in the citys which i can silently pull in the shadows and stab countless times, it's all good...

11-10-2007, 12:23 PM
I'm actually starting to think I want to go to Jerusalem and check out the templars head quarters, I wonder how many will be there? Probably more then other places. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

11-10-2007, 12:23 PM

11-10-2007, 12:25 PM
Jerusalem as, to me anyway, it seems to be rather atmospheric.

11-10-2007, 12:36 PM
That's good, I can't wait to explore the medieval world of Acre, Jerusalem, and Damascus. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

11-10-2007, 12:45 PM
Probably ride around in the Kingdom and look around Maysaf for a while. Then head off to wherever the first assingment is.

I probably should have added Maysaf. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif I completley forgot.

11-10-2007, 12:47 PM
Acre is now know as Akko(or Acco) and i am going to visit Damascus first as i spended first 2 years of my life there

11-10-2007, 12:48 PM
Sweet, by the way, welcome to the forums. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/partyhat.gif

11-10-2007, 12:50 PM
I'm probably going to go to Acre than go to Damascus. Then I'm going to a club, dance and get drunk.

11-10-2007, 12:52 PM
i am going to jeruslaem because i've seen bits of gameplay there so i might know my way around a little bit better

11-10-2007, 12:54 PM
im just going to go around the stronghold for a bit, getting used to the controls because i bet theres loads of things to climb on as thats where they will have practiced and trained free running.

11-10-2007, 12:54 PM
Ya, from history and other things, I think I shall know a great deal on how to get around Jerusalem. (Have read tons of books on the crusades.)

11-10-2007, 12:56 PM
I am totally going to look for the nearest body of water and dive in it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

But no seriously, ill probably roam the kingdoms looking for some small missions first.

11-10-2007, 01:19 PM
Cool thanks, I didn't know that, I wonder what kind of missions will be in the kingdom? And how they will help you.

11-10-2007, 01:29 PM
masyaf, there was supposed to be some big battle there as the tutorial...

11-10-2007, 01:30 PM
Ya I saw that in one of the videos, I think it's near the beginning of the game though.

If Persia can be changed to Iran, I'm sure a similar thing can happen to something smaller... like a city...

I'm gonna see if I get PWNed and try and kill a newbie assassin http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

11-10-2007, 01:37 PM
http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/agreepost.gif Their have been lots of cities and regions names that have changed.

11-10-2007, 01:54 PM
As i stated before, Acre is now know as Akko (or Acco) but it aint a big city no more. it is next to haifa wich is now the biggest port in Israel. Damascus is now known as Dimashq (in "own language')

11-10-2007, 02:04 PM
I've heard you start off in Acre anyway, but if not, I'm going there first.

11-10-2007, 02:07 PM
After all the pictures and videos i have seen, my mind goes as follows

Acre is the dark and violent city and the buildings are all around destroyed (not all of them though). It has that Blue glow.

Damascus is the city overwhelmed with sun and light. It has that Orange glow.

Jerusalem is alittle like Damascus but with a less Orange glow. Personally i would choose to go to Jerusalem. Also because i've heard so much about the city.

11-10-2007, 08:13 PM
Don't you start in your guild, then you get to choose which people you want to assassinate first, choose the city? Because in a video your master gives you a list of 9 men you need to kill, do whatever order you want.

11-10-2007, 08:26 PM
I think I'll start in Acre. I like being close to the ocean.... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

11-10-2007, 08:37 PM
Am i the only one who wants to go to Jerusalem? Its like, rich. And Green. Then Acre, i wanna hop over post over the water.

11-10-2007, 09:10 PM
for sure ill hit acre first and climb the huge church and just soak up the victory of vinally getting assassins.

11-10-2007, 09:46 PM
I think I'll go to Damascus (or Dimashq if you prefer http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif) first for some reason I like it a lot. After that I'll probably roam around the kingdom a bit then start whatever I should be doing http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

11-10-2007, 10:17 PM

Because its a cool crusader city, complete with a fortified port full of ships to clamber around on! I think it also has a huge citadel/castle on one of the sides to climb!

But then again, Jerusalem seems like it will be one hell of a bustling place. With lots going on. Ill probly sneak into the temple of solomon(or dome of rock w/e) and see what the templars are up to. Probly hanging out in palacial golden rooms up to no good http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

11-10-2007, 10:59 PM
Well I will probably got to The biggest city first... Which one is that? damascus is it? Well I'll go to the biggest one first, try to memorize each alley, street and Leap of faith spot, then then the 2nd biggest and then the smallest.. Then Masyaf to explore that... The kingdom will just come naturaly I guess, ya know going from city to city to city to masyaf http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I can't wait for this Game

11-11-2007, 12:43 AM
I feel like Jerusalem and Damascus are a better choice but thats my opinion I donno why http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

11-11-2007, 12:40 PM
Very true, Damascus and Jerusalem have nice tones to the city, Acre is very much a blue, european feeling city.

the maxz
11-11-2007, 12:47 PM
first I'm going to learn the controls well. And try to kill a random assassin just to see what happens. Than I will go to damascus

11-11-2007, 12:59 PM
I wonder how well Altair will react to broken buildings in Acre, when climbing them and stuff.

11-11-2007, 01:04 PM
Acre, coastal cities ftw.

11-11-2007, 01:20 PM

That's a good idea, I wonder how Ubiosoft puts boundaries on the world, wether it by water or mountains? Or if it comes to invsible walls!?! Gasp! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

11-11-2007, 03:12 PM
Maybe alot of Smooth cliffs lol... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif So he can't hold on to anything. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif What is the biggest city in the game? anyone know?

11-12-2007, 07:32 PM
Either Damascus or Jersalem. I'm not quite sure http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

11-12-2007, 07:38 PM
All three cities look very promising. I don't know much about the cities, I from what I have seen, the atmospheres of all the cities are amazing. Damascus looks more dusty dry and warm. Acre looks misty and rich, while Jerusalem has more of a poor but historic feeling to it. The kingdom reminds me of taking a breath of fresh air in a beautiful village.

11-12-2007, 07:39 PM
I think my head will explode as I take my 1st step...

Well, ive heard the kingdom is very "lane-ish" like theyre are defined lanes or walkpaths that the player is confined to but there are villages in between these roads. Kaxen is probably the person to talk to about the kingdom tho.
