Will this work for you? 1C Games (http://www.1c.ru/)

1C's titles this year include: Whirlwind of Vietnam, a helicopter flight simulator from the producers of IL-2 Sturmovik; Battle Lord (from the developers of Space Rangers 2: Rise of the Dominators), a fantasy RPG with turn-based battles that take place in full 3D; Death to Spies a 3rd person stealth-action title pitting one covert agent in real-life missions from WWII; You Are Empty, a tense 1st person action game with stunning graphics and a fascinating storyline; and Theatre of War (previously known as World War II RTS), the most accurate WWII strategy game ever created with graphics and physics to match. 1C has a multitude of other new and original titles that will be coming out in 2006 not mentioned above. Information on these titles will be available during any meeting upon request. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

Good to hear, however, im not fluent in Russian, So not sure where it says anything about a release date on that site. Also, whats the status on a US release? Im sure since it is a vietnam sim, it will most likely be catered to the US audiences.

But the Whirly only served in Europe...what's going on here? 'Whirlwind of Argentina' would have been acceptable with the Bellows 'buy a Whirly fund' and all, don't you noobs do your homework? Why are you taunting me like this? Is this just another Hollywood attempt to rewrite history? Do they think I'm daft enough to part with cash for anything with 'Whirlwind' in the title without looking into it? O.K. - forget the last one, but can you see my point - hard work undone and all that? And you've got off lightly here; imagine the fallout if those bozo's had called this thing Wurger of Vietnam - they'd all be crawling out of the woodwork with their charts and signed photo's.....GRRRRR!!!!!!

And it's Wagner's 'Ride of the Valkyries' if you all want to rush out and buy a copy at your local gramophone shop.

I know a VN veteran Cobra pilot who may be interested in this game. Will the late war anti-aircraft Redeye missiles be modeled? They took out a few unlucky chopper pilots before the U.S. pulled out. He told me that he had to listen to one unlucky flight crew scream the whole way down, as the missile blew off their tail section, leaving the crew compartment intact- very grizzly stuff. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

The game is being developed by "G5 Software" and is based on this game (http://www.redshark.g5software.com/e_news.html) engine.
Oleg does not take part in it's development.
