Swinging?

Hello!

I have recently purchased ACII on Steam and I have come to the Novella Catacombs mission. The biggest difficulty I have is swinging in the poles to get to another object. Can someone please assist me in learning how to do this move successfully?

Press X and when he swings push the left "stick" at the direction you want to go`?

Steam is on the computer. Sorry though, I've never played any AC game on a comp..

hold down the high profile and free running keys and hold the movement direction in the way you want to go (usually just forward)
