Hey, I am looking to buy a TrackIR system. I see that Natural Point has two systems, 4:Pro and 3:Pro. What are the major differences besides the larger FOV on the 4? Why should I spend the extra $30?

Also, are there other brands out there?

Lastly, I can not find a Natural Point TrackIR system for sale less that "MSRP". Are there any places out there selling at a discount?

The 6DOF ability is not included standard with the 3PRO you have to buy an additional vector expansion pack .. also the 3 doesnt fit well on LCD screens whereas the 4 is fine ... get the 4 its better value

I can't figure out how the 4 would attach to my LCD monitor. Does anyone have a photo showing how that thing attaches to an LCD flat panel screen?

Jiri of HyperLobby has a $15 discount with the TIR. Next time you're on HL click on the TIR banner in the middle of the window and you'll get it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Duct tape! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif Yup, I had to resort to using that even though I have a CRT, coz the damn thing is so tiny and light that the mere weight of its own cable kept pulling it down.
