My dads late Christmas present came today in the mail form a store called GoGamer.com.(thats what it said on the brown paper envelope it came in). When i opened it i saw a redish black box with il2 46 title on it and a signature and some writing i beleive. When i first opened it i thought it was a xbox 360 game like all the other ones i received. Then i put the DVD in my computer drive and installed the game. While the game was installing i saw some strange pictures of some airplane that seem like they were from ww2. After the game installed i clicked on the little pic on the desktop and the game started up. On the main screen the game loaded and a black and white movie appeared and after that was done the game came to a blue screen with some tabs with different options on them, i never played a game of this kind so i took it of and went back to play call of duty 2.

I went online and typed the title on google and it came to this website. I tired to make a post and after registiring i finally made this post.

A few questions before i play the game.

1. What kind of game is this?
2. IS it like call of duty 2 where it takes place during some war?
3. What do i need to play it, like a gamepad or a controller?
4. How do i learn how to play it?

Welcome to the IL2 `46 forum!

It`s a World War 2 flight simulation that is really best with a joystick.

You are a Russian, american, british, german, finnish, etc fighter pilot going through the war from 1939 to 45. You can even take up hypothetical planes into 1946.

If you`ve not done Flight sims before I advise starting on easy mode and practising in Quick mission as the game is quite realistic and may be hard if you start on realistic settings.

I`m sure others will have more advice.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Its a World War II flight Simulator...Or better, a World War II flight SImulator with an fictional addition. "What would have happened if the war would have continued after 45", so you got a kind of sci-fi planes.

Wow your lucky, im still waiting on my copy of il-2 46 and am expecting it within the next few days. Let me first say welcome, this is the most excellenct combat flight sim in the genera and has taken up alot of my time in the last few months. A joystick is a necesity and the game may be a little hard to get the hang of but once youve got it its more addicting than crack.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

2.How do i see a pic of the plane in about to fly before i click fly?
3. Are there any missles or jets in this game?
4. What is a good joystick for 40 dollars?

1,2)In the QMB, before you click fly, is the place to chage your plane, add wingman and set enemies. The top row is your aircraft, click to bring up a scrolldown of the differnet planes.

There are many, so you may want to click on the round button to the right of your plane. This brings up the arming screen, and you can see the various planes also.

3)There are some jets, but not modern ones. Early jets like the Me-262 are avialible, but they are difficult to fly.

4)Saitek makes some good sticks for $40

5) Here (http://www.airwarfare.com/tactics/tactics_bfm.htm) are some basic combat manuevers, but I would concentrate on learning to fly first. Practice keeping it level, then try some gentle turns by rolling left or right a bit, then pulling back slightly. Then roll back the other way to level and get your nose level with the horizon.

Get a feel for the plane, and keep your airspeed up. Too slow and you'll stall. Good luck and dont give up. Another good plane to learn flying around is the Bf-109G-2 or Bf-109F-4. Very stable, forgiving planes. The high pitched whine you'll hear is the supercharger. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Hope this helps, don't give up, good luck and<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

There are lists in the Qick Mission Builder from which you can choose...The Jet is a German "TA 183", its the last plane in the list.

Why dont you try around a bit in the menue?

Cajun76
12-30-2006, 05:06 PM
The first plane is an A-20C. The next is a Ta-183. Weapon 3 button fires the missiles, but you'll need to map keys to guide it. It's guided manually by the pilot after launch, but only the last fired. If you fire all them off, the only one you can steer will be the last. Check the readme file in your game folder, it has some tips on this X-4 missile.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

yeah, the game is probably running slow because of the limitations of your computer's hardware. you can modify the graphics settings by going into the hardware setup menu in the main menu, then going into either the video options or video modes menues. in the video modes menu you can change your screen resolution (which governs how much detail you can see on your screen, generally the larger the number the more detail you'll see) and in the video ptions screen you can change how detailed specific things are in the game such as landscape detail, lighting, visibility, etc.

I think hes genuine Carguy, I dont see why some oldtimer would make a thread like this, it would just be stupid and show the complete lameness of the oldtimer.

Hi Cobra , this is a realistic sim and as such is quit complex.

The game probably runs slowly because you have an oldish system. You can try turning the graphics down to make things smoother, but getting a new Gfx card and more ram will help more.

Play a career instead, that way you will get into the core of the game. Its quite easy to work things out, just hit some buttons to find out what they do.

You will need a joystick really, playing with the keyboard is very hard.

In the QMB screen you can set up quick dogfights with enemies, just read the labels on the buttons and you can set up a simple fight.

Online is where the real fun is, so if you enjoy offline, try adn fly with real players insted, although as this game is realistic, its much harder than any COD or Unreal game. You can set options to make it easier tho.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

By the way, what is your suystem.

CPu power, Gfx card and how much RAM? This game needs a lot of RAM because so much data is loaded in one level.

Still QMB should be smooth.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Are you playing Battlefield 2 on the same computer as you are playing IL2 1946? You should be able to get good framerates with a machine that can handle Battlefield2.
Don't take offence at carguys comment, sometimes old-hands will register a new profile on the forum and mess around with the rest of the community, thats all he was saying http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I play all other games on my xbox360 not my pc, to think of it this is my first real pc game next to some online games i play like runescape when i have nothing else to do.

My system specs might be old:

Amd anthlon 3000+ 2.1ghz
1024mb ram pc2700
ati x1600pro 512mb agp8x
80 gb harddrive
Realtec sound card

These are not top of the line hardware and i plan on buying a new pc in the next 6 months or so but for now i will use this system.

Also i checked my il2 setup and set everything to minimal and game runs smothly.

Everything is low exept view distance and landscape which is exellent. My game runs at 800+600 in opengl mode and my frames have gone up to the mid 50-60's. My monitor has a refresh rate of only 60hz so my fps doesnt go higher than that from what i read on toms hardware guide.com on the ati setup.

The sound is maximum directx settings at 8 channels and 2250 hz.

I plan to buy a new joystick and a new sound card, and creative labs audigy le which is only 30 dollars at the local walmart.

Probably best to ignore some of the folks here. I'm hoping this is a genuine post...but we have seen many similar posts that were not so genuine.

So welcome to the community. I'll try and answer your questions briefly and hopefully set you on your way.

1) The game is a combat flight simulator.

2) Yes it takes place during a war. The war is World War II like Call of Duty. Quite unlike Call of Duty...all of the action takes place in the air. World War II was the first war where air became one of the most powerful and deciding factors...enough so that several battles in World War II were entirely based in aerial combat.

3) Its best to get a joystick to play this game. It doesn't have to be an expensive one although many (myself included) later bought more expensive sticks. Saitek makes a great line of joysticks and you can have one of their more basic models for $30-$40. You CAN, in theory, play with a keyboard...but its not a pleasant experience and control is difficult. I have heard of some people using their XBox 360 controllers but I'm not sure how that was done (and I'm not quite finished with my regular XBox so I can't test that).

4) The best way to learn is by playing the game. Be prepared to spend some time learning how to play this game. It takes a while to master...its not like most XBox games which can be mastered in a matter of an hour or two. My recommendation is to take your time...play an hour or 30 minutes or whatever...play around. Have fun. Take some enjoyment out of the silly things your going to do (like crashing your plane into a mountain, into an enemy plane, flipping your plane over on the grass beside the airfield, etc.) and above all...try not to be frustrated.

Many of the folks here are older...40s and 50s. Some virtual pilots are real pilots. A rare few are even veterans themselves. I'm closer to you in age and I know that flight sims are daunting...especially after what our generation tends to play on the computer...but this game, once you get into it, is quite a bit more enjoyable than probably anything else you've played. To the point that there is so much you can do in this game that you'll spend a very long time playing it.

I'll stop talking now http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Here's some important stuff you'll want to have a look at:

http://hyperfighter.sk/ - The HyperLobby online community is where we play our multiplayer games. Configure it, sign up (its free), and get online with the vast majority of folks. Its daunting but we're all here.

http://www.simhq.com/ - A general website about simulations. Tons of stuff here.

http://www.simhq.com/_air/acc_library.html - SimHQ's air combat corner. These are a series of articles about air combat. You don't need to read anything here to play the game, have fun, and enjoy it. But they can make you better. Real world air combat techniques work in this game. Some of them don't apply to us because were playing a World War II sim, so all of the complicated stuff like electronic avionics and guided missiles aren't really anything we have to deal with...but its there if you get into that.

http://www.flying-legends.net/ - Downloadable content like new skins for aircraft (numbering in the thousands) and missions.

http://mission4today.com/ - More downloadable content...mostly missions...again...thousands of individual missions and campaigns.

That should get you started.

Good luck!<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Change sound settings.

IL2setup.exe >>> sound

Setup custom

balanced sound 22050

This should do it.

Benchmark track is TheBlackDeath.ntrk.

Play it and observe FPS.

Also, reducing visibility distance to medium gives considerable fps boost at a small price.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Your system is fine for the game, but we had to get thatout of the way first becasue its the most likely cause of low fps.

You might also want to go here (http://www.airwarfare.com/guides.htm) to get some help. I highly recomend you bookmark Airwarfare. It is the best overall English speaking Flight Sim site on the net bar none.

As for a stick.... I recommend that you seriously consider spending just a tad more and go here (http://saitekusa.stores.yahoo.net/recprod.html) and getting an X-52. This sim is very challenging and unlike anything you have ever experienced as far as software entertainment goes. It is immersive, very versatile... you can go from settings set so easy a 5 year old can have fun.. and settings that can keep the most anal purist at the very least occupied if not totally satisfied. The fact that most of us have been flying inhere for years is a testament to the sim and it's uniqueness. Time is your friend. Dont be afraid to ask questions here. Below are some links that can also get you acclimated to the sim.

In Pursuit: An Online Pilot's Guide to Aerial Combat (http://web.comhem.se/%7Eu85627360/)
Neural Dreaml's Aircraft Reference Guide (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#001) A great resource with pictures and plane specs... also gauge layouts.
Hardball's Aircraft Viewer (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#014) an online version of the guide basically.. minus the gauge layouts both are very good. Hardball'e Viewer is a pc based application... and you can compare the pros & cons of different aircraft.
<span class="ev_code_red">U</span>ber <span class="ev_code_red">Q</span>uick <span class="ev_code_red">M </span>ission<span class="ev_code_red">G</span>enerator (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#043) - This tool will help you to create more diverse quick missions to practice with. It comes with an extensive help file and is pretty easy to use once you do it a few times.
Mission Mate (http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=8) - Very similar to The UQMG.. but different enough to deserve it's own place on your HD. Since you have limited space however you might consider one or the other. Both are great.. I think MM is a little easier in some ways to use.
Fraps (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#010)- A quick and easy way to measure your frames per second
IL2 Manager 5.0 (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#022) This utility will allow you to make certain adjustments within the config file.. like graphics setting etc. on a gui. While it is highly recommended that you learn where these things are in the config file, once you know that... easy and quick is the way to go. It also has a stick editor which will allow you to set up different profiles for your joystick sensitivity settings.
IL2 Stab (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#024) Similar to IL2 Manager but without the stick editor and with a Diary feature.
VAC (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#047)- <span class="ev_code_red">V</span>oice <span class="ev_code_red">A</span>ctvated<span class="ev_code_red">C</span>ommands - This utility is very similar to SHOOT.. it allows you to interact with your PCand thus the sim with voice commands. Very usefull in coops. A bit tricky.. but a good program.
COOP Generator (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_essential_files.htm#005) - A random COOP genrator. I have yet to use it but it looks interesting.
Sniper's Corner (http://ourworld.cs.com/Abra772/SC_2_Eng.zip) a nice utility to help get the angles aspect of A2A gunnery in your head - Gunnery at AW.C (http://www.airwarfare.com/tactics/tactics_fwgunnery.htm)-A good explanation of the tool and what is does. Also this entire section at AW.C is a really good resource.

Hope all that helps. I also recomend that you pick a plane and stick with it. Keep all your flight settings on.. that means do not turn off stalls & spins, gunshake, vulnerability etc.... some things you can be flexible wit initially like the open pit and even the icons until you get a handle on the sim. I prefer to fly with a closed pit if I am using icons. Concentrate on just learning how to fly well initially.... lastly.... Your dad must be a pretty good guy to turn you on to this sim. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif My hat's off to him.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

LMAO!!!! Tell you dad I said loosen up a bit!!! Most of the guys here are in their 30s 40s and 50s.. a few in their 60s & 70s... In fact at least 60% are over 30... Check out this thread Who We Are (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/23110283/m/114103926/p/1) and look at the demographics... Mind you this thread was made a few years back... I am older now.... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif You will find this place filled with an older crowd (Note I didnt say more mature... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif ) most of us have jobs and lives, kids etc..... and we just enjoy planes.

So again... welcome aboard.

PS... the record feature in the sim only records the inputs and plays it back off the sim. You can look in the Sturmovik Essentials thread in my sig for a few places to post the tracks for free. We can then DL them and play them back....<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

It's all good Cobra. carguy's a decent chap but he's bored. Don't let his cantankeryness spoil your fun and need for info.

This IS a great game sim. As many have already said this will take a learning curve to really get the hang of it. It's not a point and shoot kind of game like Ace Combat.

Like Call of Duty, IL2 '46 will put you in the middle of WW2. Instead of being infantry, you are given the task to fly sorties either attacking the enemy or defending your home.

There are about 200 flyable airplanes in the game. Some are early jets. Others are even pre war bi planes. In total the game has over 300 including Artificial Intelligent controlled craft.

The fun part (after you learn to keep in the air and maybe land a few times) is learning how each aircraft flies and how you can use it's strengths to exploit your enemy plane's weeknesses.

As I said it's not a point and shoot, but it's something that will take time to understand the intricasies of it all.... THAT'S THE REWARD.

Don't get discouraged if it all seems a bit much.

There REALLY is a great bunch of guys here. (even carguy.)

PS. With difficulty settings, you can make this as realistic as you want....or you can make it simpler so you can still have fun while learning. After all how fun is it if you are trying to manage the engine while keeping the aircraft trimmed and you keep stalling?

Just have fun. That's what it's all about.

Oh, and I'm 45. I bet your dad would have fun.

Welcome aboard, Cobra! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

It's always great to have new guys (online players would refer to you as "new meat", but you'll find out about that in first hand later).

IL-2 is all about hard-core realism. Period. IL-2 is a difficult game to learn, especially if this is your first ever PC game. Regarding realism and depth, this title is unlike anything you've ever seen on the console, so be ready for it...

IL-2 is not a pick-up-and-play type of game. It will require a significant investment of time and effort to simply get some of the most basic flight principles right. While learning the game you will stall and crash numerous times. You will be shot down numerous times. It will be a while before you will even shoot down your first fighter - unarmed transports are another matter, however!

Stick with it and you will improve, and eventually you will get good enough to where you'll take off and land routinely without worrying if you're going to mess it up. You may even shoot down a fighter or two, a bomber, or some other foe in that mission you just finished.

In your years, I would be considered old. I'm 36, and play regularly not only IL-2, but MS Flight Simulator, GTR2, GT Legends, War in the Pacific, and Silent Hunter III. I used to play console games, but now I only use my PS2 to play movies. Once I switched over to the PC I never went back to consoles.

Again, wecome aboard! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

**** (Edit after post: OK now, I just saw Steve's post after I posted mine, and yes, that is just a bit too damned good to be true. First - having virtually no idea what kind of sim IL-2 is - he has questions on simply navigating his way around his "first ever PC game" menu system, and just hours later he's smoking fools on Hyperlobby?!?! This is obvioulsy not a genuine post. Shame on you, "Cobra"... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif) ****<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I was lucky with that bf-109 because the rest of the time i was trying to avoid dogfighting to practice my skills and i managed to land with one wheel broken. After taking off again i get to about 1500m and i hear a plane behind me shooting white tracers, as he dove on me i pulled up and he overshoot and as he pulled out of the dive i started firing and this time i got to withing 150m and opened fire again and 1 second later i see the message that the pilot of the opposing plane is dead.

Maybe this game is hard to learn but i still managed to bag 2 planes in 1 hour. Of course i was flying with a saitek joystick i picked up at bestbuy for 75 dollars along with a pair of logitech headphones and a new laser mouse.{a little gift i got for my self with the money i earned working overtime)

The joystick is a logitech extreme 3d pro.

TREETOP if u want proof of the planes i shoot down i did record it in il2 with the record button, and if someone can tell me how to upload stuf to this website ill be glad to show u guys.

Bingo!

Most people that walk up behind me and see IL2-46 or its earlier versions love the graphics, but walk away soon because it takes so long for something to happen.

It's definitely not an Xbox or PS2 run and shoot fast paced type of game. It's more of a real time fly to the target, get positioned, shoot, get positioned again, shoot again, etc, etc. That takes time.

Some people don't have the patience for it. They just don't realize what they are missing. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Cobra, uploading tacks proves JACK in regards to your - *ahem - newness. You're trying to convince us that you JUST picked up this game that represents air combat in "some war". Just hours ago you didn't even know what it was, and had no clue on how to play it, or even what you needed to play it. Then you got it running, but according to you it was running sluggishly.

Now, in a blink of an eye, you log on to Hyperlobby and start racking up kills.

Not.

Likely.

Not disputing your results, dood. The dispute is your claim that you're brand new.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Everybody who says this game is hard should try to fly a f-15 in battlefield 2 for the xbox 360.

Just because i know how to fly and shoot doesnt meant im lying about what i did, In the last 24 hours that i had il2 i played it for about 8 with some help from airwarfare with the guide on how to set up the joystick along with the controls to set up the throttle and brakes and = the chocks, this game feels like flying in battlefield 2 but a little harder on the realistic settings.

I dunno why they do it. The internet is like the open street. You dunno who might come up pretending to be `innocent`.

I once got off the train from London all dressed up smart and a very pretty lady came crying to me that her boy friend had jilted her and left her 10 miles from home and begged me to help her with cash to get home. Of course, I fell into the help the `maid in distress` mode and gave her 10.

By incredible coincidence, a month later, I was passing the train station, but more casually dressed (and had shaved off my beard for a change) and the SAME girl came to me with the SAME story! She didn`t know I was the same guy. I gave her a lesson she won`t forget in a hurry.

I`ve also seen beggars who aren`t destitute at all and have homes and social security. No longer do i give money to them either. If they `look` genuine I might give them food.

Yep, life can make one very jaded.

If there`s one thing I truly hate are people who take advantage of other people`s kindness to decieve them. At least on the internet I don`t lose money, so it`s not so bad.

I don`t normally help new guys much these days and this makes it even less likely.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I am very excited that you got your first kill online and the same day you installed this sim (Hey anything is possible)! GREAT JOB!!! Which server was it and what realism settings were being used? You can't expect a person who has never flown this sim before to get a kill his first day on Spits v 109s or Zekes v Wildcats.

BUT just one thing... WHO ARE YOU REALLY????? Going from "Can't figure out how to switch planes" in QMB and uninstalling it to reinstalling it and getting a kill in HL 6 hours later just doesn't jive.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Why is it so amazing?

His question could have been genuine. It was reasonable, asking the type of questions a non-user might ask (though I admit he sounded a little too new) and he was polite.

Now what is a GENUINE honest new IL2 user to do to show he`s not bogus? He can`t be polite, he can`t sound new and he can`t post for help either.

If pretending to be a new guy is clever, it isn`t because now every new guy coming here for help will either decide not to after seeing this or get total suspicion and probably leave the sim in disgust.

I don`t see anything hilarious in that. It wasn`t even funny until he lost his kiddie cool and mentioned Hl and that game.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Nah. he`s not genuine, don`t worry.

from quoute: "...strange pictures of some airplane..."

to quote: "i managed to get behind a bf-109 and managed to put about 100 20mm rounds from my la7"

That`s pretty fast learning of "strange airplanes" to be identifying aircraft such as an La7 so quickly and incidentally choosing one of the easiest planes to get kills with. Most new users drop into a recognisable Spitfire, P51, not an unknown russian LA7!

But there are clues dripping all over his later posts to show he`s not new to IL2 at all.

It`s quite fascinating taking apart the clues really... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Oh come off it, stop being so bloody sanctimonious http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif It was damn funny watching some of you get drawn in so quickly to what, from the very first post, was clearly going to be quite a dodgy thread. Take a look at that first post again in detail.......

"When i first opened it i thought it was a xbox 360 game like all the other ones i received" - Yeah.... right and it has PC DVD marked prominently on the main cover and internal box http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

All of the questions he asks in the first post are briefly answered by reading the back of the DVD cover or case and going to the web address supplied on the case. Even questions in the second post seem dumb to me like

"3. Are there any missiles or jets in this game?" Errrr what is that big jet with missiles on the back cover of the game box for then....duh http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

It was hilarious how some of you fell for this hook, line and sinker http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif and whether you like it or not it was a quite well constructed spoof.

You can can you?

I think you`re the one who likes to say `told you so` when you weren`t there in the beginning to tell us. I`ll bet 20 that if you had seen his post first time you wouldn`t have had a clue if this guy was genuine or not and it would`ve been 50\50 whether you`d `tell the difference` to whether he was genuine or not.

Of course, it`s easy to laugh at everyone else and say how much smarter you are when you don`t have to actually prove it! Does everyone remember what happened the first time they played IL2 ?

I remember reading the manual, and then spending the first 1/2 hour starting my LAGG3's engine and then exploding a couple of seconds later (from the cockpit view). Then I learned how to get an external view and saw in my next takeoff attempt that I was taxiing into the LAGG in front of me after starting the engine (had engine power on 70% when i started it). It took another day before I took off successfully I of course stalled and crashed after take-off the rest of the week. But God it was exhilarating !

The original poster is obviously not very intelligent,as he put few contradictions in his first post and in fact in all others.

It is actually quite easy to act as a brand new user.

But here, you read the very first post and can`t help the feeling something is fishy.

Although if you know PC games, playing IL2 and owning on the first day is not too hard. After about 8 hours of play,I enabled stalls&spins and was able to down an AI rookie Emil flying I16 repeatedly.

I was not able to fly German planes so I did a VVS campaign first. After that(little over 90missions) I turned towards the 109.Stil,it was very tough vs rookie AI.From that I always thought the VVS planes were easier to fly.

Before trying IL2 I had CFS[1] with all campaigns completed. In CFS I was a god,in IL2 a hopeless dude who can`t even hold a plane in the air.

IL2 proved to be a very unfriendly game at a first glance although training tracks helped VERY much.Kinda like with Fallout series.I du,ped it after first 30mins for 2months,got bored and gave it another chance. Those two games never left my HDD since.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I was expecting a response like "The (insert aircraft type here) is my favorite because (insert reason here)."

For example: The Spitfire is my favorite because it is Uber and my dad's, uncle's, 3rd cousin's, grandpa got to see a picture of one in the war.

I wasn't referring to this thread as a game although it is clearly that.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I thought CFS2 was going to be the hardest as well since you had to land on carriers. IL2 slapped that silly notion clean out of me when I could't even figure out how to get the airspeed up in a MIG3 after takeoff.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
