There is still an element...a rather large element of luck involved in finding nice juicey targets in Scapa Flow or indeed anywhere due to the Dynamic game play of the Campaign.

Good Hunting and good luck is all I can say.
They are out there...Hunt them, Kill them !

In Loch Ewe, I headed down the left-hand side towards the port facilities at the head of the loch. I found a battleship there, moored slightly to the left of where the lighthouses shine (I did this at night) as I approached. I've been back several times, but found nothing else - although I know that others have reported finding cruisers there.

In Scapa, I enter on the western entrance. Where the first island is, I skirt around the south of it, and then up towards the northern side once I'm past it. I've found two hilfskreuzer (help cruisers?) and an aircraft carrier there. I've also found moored destroyers. These are located in the bay at the north of the Scapa Flow, where the port of Scapa Flow itself is indicated on the map. I've also sank a light cruiser there.

I know that others have found battleships too - but I have not. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I've also been into Firth of Forth, but found nothing there, other than patrol boats. I've made a point of sailing into Scapa on every mission. I prefer to get to the Atlantic by going between Schottland and the Orkney islands, so Scapa is nearby, and I've perfected my route in, so it is really easy now.

SPOILER

Click on the link to see a map of my route into Scapa Flow, along with the positions of various ships.

I'm going from memory here, so the positions are not particularly accurate, but should be close enough to put you within periscope-sighting distance. (Key: 1=Hilfskreuzer, 2=Hilfskreuzer, 3=Carrier, 4=Light cruiser, 5=Moored destroyers).
