View Full Version : Bad graphic artifacts, help please

I bought AC the other day and have been playing it, for a little while it was playing fine then all these weird polygonal graphic artifacts start showing up and completely ruin the game.

They appear every time I play the game, in different ways, and it is very damn annoying. This does not happen to me on any other game, only on Assassins creed.

Is there a fix for this stupid bullsht? I'm not pleased at all that I forked out close to $100 for this ****in game that doesn't work properly.

My computer meets ALL recommended/minimum requirements btw, except I don't have a sound card. Latest NVIDIA graphic drivers installed.

drop back the overclocking on your graphics card.

Already have, made absolutely no difference. It's nothing to do with overclocking, it's THE GAME.

Did you read the part where I said this is not happening on ANY other game that I have?

post a dxdiag for your system and some1 may beable to help as this is running 100% for me with a 8800Gt and amd 64 4800 x2.

i think i may have your answer, but i have to know: what grapics card do you have?

videocard: XFX 7900GT

i think its the card believe it or not, i had a similar problem with the 9600 gt and it turned out to be the card, do you have the extreme edition?

So even though it happens on no other games, only on Assassins creed, it must be my videocard? :/

I fail to see your logic..

when my 7900 that I originaly had started to die I only got that type of graphics error in one game but then over time it spread to other games and gave the illusion of dead pixels on the screen. also check what driver you are using as there may be a newer released version.

Man, look for your temperatures, because the problem is not the game, is your computer. It's too hot. Probably the GPU...

Artifacts are more commonly hardware overheating than the game, whether the poster is aware or willing to admit it or not.
