Any news on this? There was a posting on Netwings advising us to watch Mudmovers, but I haven't seen anything yet. What's the form, gents?

Hopefully he makes a patch for it after the spit comes out because an RAF campaign would not be complete without a spit http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I'm really looking forward to this too, but I can wait as long as it takes to get those RAF voices.

Hi All,
We're just about done with the campaign part of the package.(Extreme One and I have been collaborating on it) Hopefully we'll have the missions all done in a few days. We'll certainly post to keep you all informed when its all ready. The campaign is 50 missions long and starts in '39 and runs thru the end of BoB in October '40

Poymando, thanks for the update. It's good to have a couple of experienced cooks in the kitchen.

We're just waiting for the voices as NTESLA and Poymando have already pointed out.
I've just received the new awards from Mr Big. (Looking mighty fine!)

The plan is to distribute two versions, one which contains everything; skins, voices etc...
and one 56k friendly version which has far fewer skins and no voices...

I reckon it'll be ready very early in 2004! (Don't hold me to that though http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

What will the RAF voices be like?

"Blimey! I'm knackered! Bailing out!"

"Spiffing work chaps, mission accomplished. Just like at the Odeon."

"Oh chaps? Would you mind sorting out that hun on my six? Giving me a right trashing he is...thank you."

And the best one, in all it's simplicity:

"Tally ho!"

Along those lines, yes. A little more formal, but appropriate slang is included.

Looking forward to it! Will it wait for the Spit? Perhaps that's not necessary since we can retrofit in FMB. Thanks to EO and Poymando for taking this project on.

Just curious. Are the missions going to be all air start like the "Real Deal"? Personally, I like the take off and landing aspects of missions.

Extreme_One
12-28-2003, 07:08 AM
"The Real Deal" missions simply HAD to be air-start as there was no map at the time which would accomodate a US campaign. Was it such a bummer to fly in an air start campaign for a change?

"The Battle Over Britain" WILL feature take-offs and landings though. Although we haven't got a real Channel map, there's a couple which do the job. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I've got no doubt of that, not a dig at our American\Russian friends but they're not the accents I'd like to hear when I'm flying my RAF Hurribus.

They mean that they will have British and Commonwealth accents and will use British slang. At the moment the so called English accents are American accents.
