Is this to be an empathy test? Capillary dilation of the so-called blush response? Fluctuation of the pupil? Involuntary dilation of the iris?

that's just what a Replicant would say.

You only dreamed of unicorns, because there were implanted memories of unicorns, Replicant.

Hey Blade Runner fans and movie aficionados, I have a question? Is anyone aware of a non directors cut release of Blade Runner on DVD? I like the Directors cut but I would also like to have the theatrical version with Harrison Fords film noir monologue. I cant find it anywhere.

(Edit).. Looks like they will be releasing a new remastered definitive version this fall with both the theatrical and directors versions. So there you go.

I've only been able to find it on VHS, bought a copy off Ebay some years ago. Would love to have it on DVD...

Good news on the re-release. Although I like the "director's cut", this is one example where the studio wasn't crazy. The film with monolgue works so well I keep missing it on DVD.

But I'm happy they'll release both in the same package.

BTW, The Big Red One DVD also suffers from its director's cut version, at least some of the scenes left out finished up on the cutting room floor with a reason...

Damn I`ve GOT to see that film. How could I forget it?

Arrows in him! His men all dead and he`s STILL giving lip!

Now that`s a Man!

You all know that a new "Final Cut" of the movie will be released in theaters this fall, right? That "Final Cut" will also be included in the DVD boxed set from what I've heard, along with the original release, director's cut, and international version. I'm getting it for sure.

I guess they shot some new footage with Joanna Cassidy for the upcoming box set of Blade Runner.

And they started filming for the new Indiana Jones movie...

I'd love to see it again in theaters-- I haven't since I was 13-- but I can't find anything about an upcoming theatrical release.

Have you seen news about that crucis?
