Hey every one Im new so yeah.I put this thread up to say i think there should be a offline option for multiplayer and before you start saying no just litsen. There is alot of peple who play this game and dont have psn or xbox live and it should be easy to put splitscreen like you can put iin bots and that to fill in the missing spaces so i think it can work thanks.

How exactly are you going to play this game in a split-screen ?
My first thought when I read "offline multiplayer" was LAN (for PC at least), I don't have a console so I have no idea if that would work.

Also if they add "offline multiplayer" it can cause the game to be pirated and played in networks like Tunngle/Garena/Hamachi, which would make Ubisoft lose money and customers.

I used to play games like that in the past, but Brotherhood convinced me to buy the game just for the multiplayer, it's SO good.

Offline multiplayer as in the current multiplayer in splitescreen with bots?

No. Screen-looking ? stealth play. Too easy to break one of the core elements of the gameplay.

Offline multiplayer as in a single-screen, probably fixed-view arena mode using the first game's combat system?

&#%$ YES!

I've been asking for THAT since the first game. But AC2 and ACB changed up combat in ways that would make PvP broken.

Obliviondoll has a point. But at the same time it would be cool to have a split-screen co-op mode, so you wouldn't be playing against each other but have to work together. It would be a preparation for game modes like Alliance and such.

As for LAN play, that would be great too. You just link several PS3's together and have a go http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

As for single screen, I'd like to see something like ACB's intro session, but this time you can pick what game mode you'd like to practice and can play against bots of varying difficulties. This would be very hard to create though, since it's very hard to program bots to behave like humans but it would still be a great preparation for the game modes.

That's what I would like to see. Not sure if they'll do it though.

they should just have an option for co-op story mode like fable 3

Could you imagine taking a whole group of guards out in 1 attack with your buddy, that would be epic. I know you could do it with your assassins in brotherhood but it would be more fun to plan the attack with another intelligent person.

Yep. I love that kind of game play. Let's hope they implement it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Come to think of it, how cool would it be to be able to play online with split screen? You'd have two people playing online together from 1 PS3. That would extend the number of players from 8 to 16 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I guess it would only work for co-op mode though, or you would get people helping each other in other modes.

The multiplayer relies on human intelligence to make it unique, take away the human part and it's not so fun anymore.
