Cheers Orheim, saw that one http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

zardozid, my ip limits me to a maximum of 20Gb of internet usage per month. Once I exceed that, I get slowed down to dailup until the next billing period. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif

Wow! Can't you choose any other internet provider? Today, 20 Gb is easily reached.

OMG, it's so beautiful! Right now I'm more interested in KOTS than BoB-SOW. The purity of dogfight!
I haven't played a good WWI sim since the days of Red Baron 3D. I would probably still play it if I had a 3dfx card, but I couldn't get it to work properly on either nVIDIA or ATi hardware since.

I'm so with you on this.
The moment I will be able to climb into an Albatross again the 109, 190, Spit and Stang will be forgotten in a second.

This terrain looks beautifull.... I think I have never been as exited and unpatient about a game as I am about Knights.

Jazzed at the prospect of a really good WWI flightsim would be an understatement.

Please could someone teach those guys how to animate a prop? Getting the old 1980´s FS **** 'disc' prop just wont do in 2007(or -8)! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Remember only AI multiseaters (if nothing has changed since that was said). Oh well its still WW1 so theres at least one positive thing about it...

I don't care for the sound or for the mirror like finish on the under surface of the upper wing.

Still, I cannot imagine much that would keep me from buying this one.

And may I comment on the brilliantly useful reply of yours http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.
Joking aside, in my opinion the movie shows that the game is in too early stage to release videos to the public. It's like Blizzard releasing a video of an ork walking in a field 5 years before the release of World of Warcraft.

I do like the video and the way they have implemented the self shadowing. It adds a lot more immersion and reality to it. It just makes it more believable. I am not sure when they plan on releasing this but I do notice a few graphical glitches that need work yet. Overall it looks very good and I do plan on purchasing it.

I would not bat one eyelash at losing the industry standard "cfs" planeset. The one thing that could give WW1 the wedgie would be 1930s Spanish Civil War which would cover aircraft of all nations except Japan, and a 1930s Mongolian addon pack would fix that -- Biplanes with almost WW2 power, and fast monoplanes playing a similar role to jets in late WW2. Oleg said that he personally would love to make a Spanish Civil War sim.

Reflections on doped fabric is possible under certain lighting conditions. And the sound seems fairly accurate to a rotary engine.
