Why is there too much dihedral in the wings of the P-40s? Why hasn't it been fixed yet? Does anybody care?

Known problem, been around for ages.

But look at the Hawk 81A-2 in my sig pic http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I have seen many P-40s including 2 at my home airport (Chino, Cailfornia). All have 4-6 deg of dihedral. The ones in the game have 12-15 deg at least. I wonder if the early model P-40s modelled in Pacific Fighters will have this flaw as well?

I know what you mean...I know anhedral and dihedral http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Check the H 81A-2 in my sig,

looks like less dihedral to me. P=40B and P-40C should follow suit

Oleg mentioned a long time ago about this and said the only way to fix it was to redesign the whole plane ext which came from a 3rd party, which wasnt going to happen. 1c is aware of this issue be sure.

Yep, all the newer ones are much more appropriate in this regard.
